'Merlí'
Like many people, I spend a large and probably unhealthy amount of time binge-watching whatever Netflix throws at me. And sometimes I stumble upon absolute gems, foreign shows and indie films I’ve never heard of but end up enjoying immensely, along with the all the other usual shows. Sometimes, when Netflix recommends something for me, it’s awful, but sometimes I find myself watching something new, changing it up from the usual Friends or The Office marathon and being pleasantly surprised.

'Avengers: Infinity War' Things Missed (Spoilers!). Top Story - July 2018.
Avengers: Infinity War is the 19th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the third installment of the Avengers saga. Classically, the films in this universe have been filled with Easter eggs that link to the comics, the other films in the franchise, and life outside of the films. For example, at the start of Infinity War, the “IO” in the Marvel Studios logo has been changed to a ten to mark the tenth year of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the first Iron Man being released on the 2nd of May, 2008.

'Over the Hedge' = 'Toy Story' Rip Off?
Last week I watched Over The Hedge for the first time in years. Me and my sister enjoyed it immensely as children but over the years as I’ve reflected on the film, I presumed that it wasn’t exactly the animated classic I thought it was at the time. When I watched it again I realized my presumptions were correct. However, throughout the film I noticed certain qualities that were reminiscent of another, more acclaimed animated film. Toy Story.

5 Movies Every Film Lover Should Watch
1. 'Man with a Movie Camera' - Dziga Vertov Man with a Movie Camera is one of the most interesting and pioneering documentaries ever made. Created by Polish Director Dziga Vertov in the late 1920s, Man with a Movie Camera reinvented the documentary, putting stories and messages where there had previously been none. Not only was this new and innovative but is also extremely interesting, using montage and overlaying (extremely impressive for its day), this piece shows us how much of an art form filmmaking really is.
