10 Films That Lived up to the Original Book
You know how it is Avid Reader. Your favourite book is about to be made into a movie starring a major league actor and you wait with heart beating fearfully, you go to the cinema with sweaty palms…and you weep into your hideously expensive diet coke and popcorn because the director, the actors, the scriptwriters, the producers and even the damn second reserve camera man have all conspired to rip the heart out of your… yes YOUR…story.

'Unforgiven' Has the Perfect Antagonist
I want you to take a moment and think of a movie villain. It can be your favorite, or it can just be a well-known one, or maybe one that’s a little underappreciated at times. Got one? Good. If you were going for someone iconic, you might have thought of a character like Darth Vader, literally any version of the Joker, or maybe even Voldemort. If your tastes aren’t that mainstream, you might have said something along the lines of Hannibal Lecter or Hal 9000 from 2001: A Space Odyssey.

'Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again'
So, after 10 long years we’re finally back on the island of Kalokairi with our favourite all-singing, all-dancing friends. I don’t know about you but the first film was the best I’ve ever seen. It truly is one of the most iconic of my generation. It picks you up when you’re feeling down, it's the best kind of film to watch on a sick day. I mean who doesn’t love a bit of ABBA to cheer them up—especially with this cast singing it. Thus, when it was announced that after a decade of waiting they would be releasing a second one, I was apprehensive. What if it didn’t live up to the first?
