Time Trap | Movie Review
Much like many other people in the country at the moment I've been making my through the many movie options on Netflix (its been a great way to pass the time during lockdown, I'd recommend it). So, I've always been a big sci-fi fan and enjoy most sci-fi movies that come out, which is what brought me to the many sci-fi movies that Netflix has to offer and in particular this movie.

My Review of "Schooled: Season 2"
Schooled had a bit of a stumble at the very beginning. It didn't know what it wanted to be at first. I'm glad they figured out what they wanted to do with the series by the midpoint of season one. This season seems to run with that direction and further explores the possibilities for the show.

A Filmmaker's Review: "Attacking the Devil" (2014, Netflix)
Never in my life have I seen a documentary that not only carried emotional trauma of the young with it, but also carried the historical trauma of the old as well. Here we have the heartbreaking story of the children of thalidomide and exactly why their cases had gone forgotten even though they wanted answers ever since day one.

Why You Should Watch Tiger King!
For those in self isolation right now and being told to stay at home, this gives the perfect opportunity to binge watch some Netflix. A personal and worldwide favourite right now is Tiger King. This show is something else. Tiger King has crazy twists that grasps viewers’ attention from the very beginning and keeps the viewer wondering just what in the hell is going to happen next. This is my third time watching the series and I am still fascinated by it. I have persuaded nearly every friend and family member to watch Tiger King and every one of them could not turn away. So, if you have not watched it yet, here are my reasons to watch Tiger King without spoiling too much.

Movie Review Throwback: 'Fire Bird' Nicolas Cage Loves a Helicopter
If you thought silly almost parody levels of jingoistic patriotism was just a relic of 1980's action movies, you're not entirely wrong. That said, the genre of fetishistic love for American military might did linger a little ways into the 90's before we all started to fully tire of it. As evidence, here is Fire Birds, a 1990 love letter to American military might that doubles as a right wing thesis statement on how we could have won the war on drugs with super-cool, super-expensive helicopters.

5 Criminally Underrated Movies to Watch This Summer
With the current situation going on in the world, it's easy to find yourself wallowing in a seemingly bottomless pit of boredom. For me, one of the best ways to quell it is by immersing myself in a movie for an hour or two. Sure, puzzles are great, but once you've done them once it's never quite the same. If you consider yourself a bit of a movie connoisseur then you probably feel like you've seen everything celluloid has to offer, but there are a whole myriad of movies that have been long-lost to mainstream just waiting for you. Not only that, but the further you go back, the larger the variety cinema has in store.

Hidden Messages in Lion King, 2019
Immediately the concept of the reptilian overlords come to mind, the lions are the predator in the savannah, and also the leaders. Are they teaching us to metaphorically give our lives to the royals or that the royals plan to eat us, so long as we stay in the ‘light’, or are they saying that the lions are the equivalent of the Pleiadians and they look after us so long as we stay in the ‘light’, but if we enter the darkness and stray from our destined path we will end up with evil tyrannical rulers.
