A Reading Rainbow
When I was a little girl I spent a great deal of time watching television. Now, I know that allowing a child to consume copious amounts of TV is frowned upon today. However, I'm willing to bet that most children of the 80's will agree it was their norm. My mother worked the dreaded, by me anyway, 3-11 shift at a local nursing home. I spent those hours with my Nana. Nana was a strong, loving woman with skin the color of a Hershey's kiss and a big toothless smile that was just as sweet. Nana loved me. I knew this without question. But, I also knew that her first and truest love was gardening. And it was very evident that every growing thing felt the same about her. She could make anything grow. Her garden was a miraculous thing to see. She could take the most barren, nutrient poor soil and bring forth a southerner's rainforest. Every year her vegetable garden overflowed with collared greens, corn, tomatoes, and of course, being in the South, watermelons. She grew watermelons so large that they surely outweighed my tiny five year old body. I was always happy to spend time with Nana in the sun and soil.

Why Ash's Bulbasaur Is The Batman Of His Original Team
1.) They Both Are Equipped With Projectiles Bulbasaur and Batman both have projectiles they use against their enemies. Batman has smoke bombs, various batarangs and putty bombs. Bulbasaur has razor leaf, leech seed, poison powder and sleep powder. probably more that I'm forgetting to list from both. Its clear Batmans belt and Bulbasaurs bulb are both pretty well equipped for battle. Only difference is Bulbasaur can only use 4 of those attacks and Batmans are many more compartments on his belt. Even though Bulbasaur can only use 4 attacks I still wouldn't want to face off against any of them!

The Spirit of Radio II: Dr. Yaron Brook, Free Speech, the 'Charlie Hebdo' Shooting, and Radio in the Internet Age
On the first episode of The Yaron Brook Show, Dr. Brook illustrated with wit and solemn power the atrocity of the shooting of some of the Charlie Hebdo staff. In the five years since that vicious attack, where is free speech? America just eliminated a player in the Iranian military that might prove to be rather inconsequential. But the rhetoric and the outcry against America and its allies has not emboldened Americans to write, draw, paint, direct, act, sing, or produce works that decry and denounce authoritarian dictatorships like Iran and celebrate life. No. Some people of the United States and other countries have constructed signs that attempt to placate Iran. Shrieks in the streets consist of the “innocent” people of Iran (neglecting to mention the scores of people yelling “Death to America” in that region). Shouts of “Oh, we’re for Iran, not Trump” have arisen throughout American cities. While Mr. Trump is certainly no noble figure in all of this, he represents the nation and ought to be recognized for at least doing one (albeit small) thing right. With one vicious figure out of the way, this does not mean that Trump’s incompetence is excused. It just means that we might have time to refocus on how nefarious the current Iranian regime actually is….

'Manifest' Returns for Season 2
Some of the freshmen shows that premiered in 2019 did not get renewed for a second season. For instance, Grand Hotel was canceled after only one season. The finale was on September 9, 2019, and it left viewers wondering how the story would end. Therefore, fans of the show will have to come up with their own ending.

Thrilling Movies
I love movies that are suspenseful and scary but not those that have only blood and gore. I can handle Michael, Jason and Freddy but not for all time. I need nail biting terror that slowly builds. This is the same when it comes to reading novels which are a bit more psychological than actually frightening. For this reason I came across an article that tells about some of the great women authors who have written suspenseful novels and some of them have even been made into movies .
