Everything We Know About ‘The Boys’ Season 5 So Far
Season 5 of The Boys will conclude Eric Kripke’s flagship superhero series in a long-known plan for the show. Fans attending the Gen V panel at Comic-Con 2025 got a sneak peak at footage of the fifth and final season that played in the room. Homelander (Antony Starr), now the de facto leader of America, stood in a crowded room proclaiming that the country now under his control will be a “safer, God-fearing nation.” A very quick look at Jared Padalecki, who had previously revealed that he would appear in Season 5, was shown as well

Anything can happen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the run-up to Avengers: Doomsday and nobody is more aware of that than the powers-that-be at Marvel Studios. Peacemaker: Gunn on Arrowverse Easter Egg, "Great Guy" Grant Gustin Peacemaker writer/director
James Gunn touched on the easter egg "Arrowverse" fans will recognize and name-dropped Grant Gustin (The Flash) During the early days when DC Studios' James Gunn and Peter Safran were first crafting the foundation for their new DCU, there were a whole lot of folks who were hoping to see at least some of The CW's "Arrowverse" make the move over into the new universe. In particular, there was a lot of buzz for Grant Gustin's Barry Allen/The Flash to make a return in some way. Unfortunately, it didn't happen (we previously shared our feelings about how Gustin was treated during the whole deal), but none of it was ever anything personal between Gunn and Gustin. In fact, the two have had nothing but very cool and respectful things about one another, despite what some folks on social media might believe (more on that in a minute). We got another example of that during the latest episode of the official Peacemaker podcast.

Shadow In Sonic Racing Animation
I will be discussing the trailer for Sonic Racing Cross Worlds, so spoilers ahead. The idea of Shadow beating Sonic in the racing game was a great idea. I know the game is named after the protagonist, and Sonic is known as the fastest thing alive. But the fact that Shadow won makes perfect sense. Because, if you recall, in both the film and video game, Shadow always has his own way of getting from place to place, either by running thanks to his air shoes or a motorcycle, also known as the Dark Rider, or in this case, a custom-made racing car. Shadow has some disadvantages in speed because, according to gaming lore, Shadow is a genetically engineered bio-merge hedgehog, thanks to the engineering of Dr. Eggman (also known as Gerold Robotnik) and the DNA of Black Doom, who is Shadow's biological father. Talk about an awkward Father's Day. However, Shadow has to limit his energy, unlike Sonic, who has unlimited energy, and Sonic was born alive. Shadow was not, in fact, he doesn't even have a mom, unless you count a test tube, which sounds messed up.
