Hunter King may be gone for good from THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS
Monday's episode of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS has had viewers talking all weekend. Online the show for June 28 has been available since Friday evening the 25. Dealing only with this episode and no rumors or spoilers it certainly seems as if Summer Newman is leaving Genoa City. She made her rounds and said goodbye to a lot of people and no one objected as viewers thought they might. Summer gave Lauren short notice that she was taking the job in Milan and even recommended Sally Spectra for her own position.

Marla Adams and Max Gail win Best Supporting Daytime Emmy's
Veteran actors Max Gail and Marla Adams warmed the hearts of soap viewers on their respective daytime dramas. Fans were so touched by their portrayals of living in the last stages of dementia that they began saying the two should win Emmys. On Friday night June 25 both were honored with the award for the Outstanding Performance by a supporting actor/actress in a supporting role. Gail, 78 was on hand to take the stage and accept his trophy while 82 year old Adams spoke to the audience via live stream. To say these two were outstanding is actually an understatement.

'The Bold and the Beautiful' facts about Justin Barber
Aaron D Spears first appeared on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL as Justin Barber in 2009. He was hired by Dollar Bill Spencer and has done much of his dirty work. Justin assisted Bill in his attempted takeover of Forrester Creations and it was Justin who found out that Maya Avant, the woman Rick Forrester was in love with had been born a man. Justin also tilted a helicopter he was flying and caused Ridge Forrester to fall into the ocean where he might have drowned. Justin also set it up so that Liam thought Steffy slept with Bill.

The next news identified that actress as being one of the cast of GENERAL HOSPITAL. Yesterday news broke that Phyllis Stafford might be leaving THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS and today the word is that it will be an actress on the CBS long running soap but no name has been released.

My brief association with Denise Matthews AKA Vanity
Prince and Vanity Today I went to the library for the first time since it reopened due to COVID. I checked out the book "Prince the Beautiful Ones" by Dan Piepenbring. When I read where the author mentioned that Prince was distraught at the death of Denise Matthews AKA Vanity it brought back a memory. Vanity was the lead singer of the girl group Vanity 6 until shortly before the movie PURPLE RAIN was to be shot.

Blind Item rumor goes from 'General Hospital' to 'The Young and the Restless'
Last week a"blind item" suggested that an actress on GENERAL HOSPITAL was leaving the ABC soap. Laura Wright and Kelly Monaco were named as two cast members who might be disgruntled and wanting to leave. Wright's boyfriend Wes Ramsey has been let go and there is speculation that she might follow him. Kelly Monaco voiced her anger when Billy Miller was fired as Drew Cain and now the character is being recast with Cameron Mathison.

General Hospital fans are demanding action regarding relationships in Port Charles
Port Charles is a hot mess right now regarding relationship status and GENERAL HOSPITAL fans are speaking out all over social media. From Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, to comments on spoiler pages the consensus is the same. The writers need to correct all the problems and chaos they have created and fans want it done yesterday. There is not one committed, solid couple in Port Charles, and those who watch the ABC daytime drama believe it's time for this to change.

Katie should be by Bill’s side on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’
THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL is the only soap where numerous characters disappear without explanation for long periods of time. Right now viewers are wondering where Heather Tom who portrays Katie Logan Spencer has been. In addition, there are other B&B cast members that fans are concerned about. Alley Mills who plays Pam Douglas was taken off contract in 2019 and has not been seen since shortly before her husband Orson Bean died in February 2020. Nothing is ever mentioned about this fan favorite anymore.
