Silver the hedgehog needs his own game!!!
Shadow and Knuckles have one!

To clarify, I am not a gamer, but rather an observer of the gaming world. While watching videos on YouTube, I came across several old games of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. I can’t believe Silver the Hedgehog doesn’t have his own game. So far, Silver has only appeared in a few Sonic games, and he has had a minor role. You would think it's about time he got his own game, because Silver is quite popular in comic books, as well as in fan fiction and animations found on the internet.
Silver was introduced in the Sonic the Hedgehog games, just like Shadow. However, unlike Shadow, who received his own game due to popular demand, Silver did not. Silver was introduced in 2006, but due to numerous glitches and annoyances, the gamer Silver fell into minor roles in other Sonic games, as many fans loved his design and background.

Even Knuckles the Echidna and Eggman got their games. However, it is sad to say that Shadow’s game wasn’t received well. This was primarily due to parents complaining that Shadow, the anti-hero of the game, was using a gun and attacking civilians,

In addition to collaborating with Black Doom. (Black Doom is the main villain and the source of power for Shadow) Oh and let’s not forget to point out that Shadow says the word “Damn” When he says “Where’s that damn Chaos emerald?”

Yeah, some parents had a field day. Imagine hearing this from a game featuring the cute, loving blue Hedgehog, who is known for not cursing, only to see him get his butt whooped by a Black Hedgehog with red highlights holding a gun.
From what I can tell, Shadow is popular not just because he is the bad boy of the franchise, but because we are Shadow, metaphorically speaking, of course. Shadow the Hedgehog is a reflection of us. Going through struggles, looking deep inside, asking “Who am I, and what is my purpose?” Shadow asks himself these questions because, sadly, he was never born alive; he was created in a lab using alien DNA. However, we humans are born alive. And growing up, we are like the characters of Sonic. And thanks to not just the games and Comics of Sonic the Hedgehog, but to the films that have been produced. Each Character symbolizes a part of us, whether it's from our past or what we're doing right now. Allow me to explain.

Sonic the Hedgehog: Our blue hedgehog embodies the ideal of good; in other words, the hero triumphing over evil, offering a solution to rebel against corrupt oppression. We all want to do the right thing, but sometimes things are beyond our control. That’s why you must stop and think before you act.

Tails: His real name is Miles "Prower" (Miles per Hour); Tails is his nickname. This character symbolizes innocence, loyalty, and the power of ingenuity. That’s something a child around the ages of 8-12 would be doing: finding what they're good at—seeing how far their knowledge can take them.

Knuckles the Echidna: Talk about the hard knocks of life. Knuckles symbolize responsibility and solitude. The guy is one of a kind, literally. Knuckles is the last of his kind, which is why he reflects on the consequences of past misuse of power alone. When we misuse something or someone so dear to us, it is essential to recognize that there will be consequences, and we must face them alone. And healing from it will take time, whether it is physical, emotional, or financial.

Silver the Hedgehog: This one character is very unique but resembles us all as one—the potential for change and the power of choice in shaping one’s future. Silver was born in a dystopia, but within himself, he found the ability to change the world. And that is something we all try to do, we can’t change where we came from, but we can choose how we let it shape us. We are our worst enemy and worst critic. So, perhaps that’s why the Sonic Films and gaming are showcasing the characters individually, highlighting how we relate to them. Now, Silver may soon have his own game, or better yet, be featured in Sonic 5, as Amy Rose and Metal Sonic are slated to appear in Sonic 4.
I learned the symbology of these characters by watching videos from a channel by a YouTuber called Ranni, who made some interesting points. Using a psychologist as a reference, please click the link below to watch the video. If you enjoy it, like and subscribe, just as I did.
