It’s only the start of 2026, and our Korean drama watchlist is already out of control. We’re not even sorry. If this year’s early lineup is any sign, we’re in for one of the best years in K-drama history.

From new stories to long-awaited sequels, there’s something for every type of fan. Romance? Check. Revenge? Absolutely. Fantasy, action, crime, comedy? All here. Let’s look at the 12 Korean dramas dropping in 2026 that we can’t wait to press play on.

1. Squid Game – Season 2

It's finally back. The first season changed K-dramas forever. Season 2 is bringing new players, twisted rules, and even bigger games. We still don’t know who’s trustworthy. That’s what makes it so fun.

2. Alchemy of Souls – Season 3

More magic. More heartbreak. More danger. The fantasy world is expanding again, and season 3 promises shocking power shifts. Expect surprising deaths and a darker tone. Fans of the saga won't want to miss this one.

3. Sweet Home – Season 3

Monsters still roam. But now, the real threat might be the survivors themselves. Season 3 introduces new settings and more terrifying transformations. It’s brutal, bold, and absolutely unmissable.

4. Vincenzo – Season 2

The mafia consigliere is back. Vincenzo’s new mission isn’t about gold—this time, it’s personal. The sequel dives deeper into his past and brings new enemies to his doorstep. Expect sharp suits and sharper justice.

5. Queen of Tears – Sequel Series

After breaking hearts in 2024, Queen of Tears is returning—kind of. This spinoff follows a new couple, but it’s set in the same world. The emotional weight? Still just as heavy.

6. Extraordinary Attorney Woo – Season 2

Woo Young-woo returns with more court cases and personal challenges. Season 2 tackles bigger topics and deeper emotional stakes. Her growth will surprise you. So will the choices she makes.

They’ve saved the world twice. Can they do it again? New evil forces rise, and the counters face a fresh mystery. Ghosts, demons, and high-flying action are back and better than ever.

9. Mask Girl – New Chapter

This dark, twisted story isn’t over. A new arc follows a different woman with a hidden identity. Fame, lies, and danger still linger. It’s creepy, clever, and addicting.

Superpowers come at a cost. Season 2 dives deeper into the next generation. It’s fast, emotional, and full of “wow” moments. The action is bigger. The risks? Even bigger.

2026 looks like a great year for K-dramas! Squid Game Season 2 has me excited. I loved the first season, and can't wait to see the new games and players. Alchemy of Souls Season 3 also sounds promising with more magic and heartbreak. What do you think will be the most shocking moment in either of these shows? Sweet Home Season 3's new settings and transformations sound intense. And Vincenzo Season 2 with a personal mission? Count me in. It'll be interesting to see how these sequels stack up against the originals.
