The HUGE Geography Problems You Never Noticed in 'Home Alone 2: Lost In New York'
If you've ever seen a movie that takes place in New York, you should know that these movies aren't always filmed in New York. But when it comes to Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, a majority of the film WAS filmed on-location here in NYC, my hometown.

Reflections on The Jeremy Kyle Show
What is it with Jeremys these days? They’re either heroes or villains; mostly villains at the moment, as evidenced by: Jeremy Hunt, the current Health Secretary and a new addition to the rhyming slang dictionary. Definitely a villain. Jeremy Clarkson, obnoxious relic of the past and belligerent anti-PC hero. A divisive choice, but probably mostly villain. Jeremy Paxman, host of University Challenge and asker of cutting, yet not always intelligent, questions on Newsnight. A hero at heart, but his aggressive style makes him seem a bit mean. Jeremy Beadle, sadly no longer with us, but a cheeky villain known for his annoying pranks and tiny right hand.

Jeff Lemire's Stark, Beautiful World
Forlorn sons, lost fathers and phantasmal mothers are the lonely inhabitants of Jeff LeMire's island of a graphic novel The Underwater Welder. Lemire's created a story which encapsulates the massive turmoil and eruptive change that can all occur in a single microcosm: the individual human mind.

Movie Review: 'Molly's Game'
Can one scene demonstrate why Aaron Sorkin’s directorial debut, Molly’s Game starring Jessica Chastain falls flat? Probably not, but in this article I am going to demonstrate how one scene can shed light on the Aaron Sorkin style, why Idris Elba is not really an Aaron Sorkin kind of actor and just who is the Aaron Sorkin style of actor; here’s a hint, they were on The West Wing.

'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom'
Here's an old film which had high expectations. The Indiana Jones films are iconic for their lighthearted situations and give an overall feeling of adventure to the audience. Especially after the 1981 film, Raiders of the Lost Ark, did so well among viewers, Temple of Doom was expected to be just as good. It concerns me that Temple of Doom is considered the sequal of the Raiders. However, it takes place two years before the events in Raiders of the Lost Ark take place.

Movie Review: 'Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle'
I was not a fan of the noisy, roiling cacophony of special effects and sound that was Jumanji. Director Joe Johnson seemed to throw everything but the kitchen sink at the screen while Robin Williams whooped and hollered and obvious metaphors about family and fathers and sons occasionally forced their way through the chaos. Jumanji 1995 isn’t a terrible movie, but it just wasn’t my taste.

Oscar Watch: 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri'
The essay contains many plot spoilers and should be read after watching Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. A single action sparks the events in the small town of Ebbing, Missouri. The actors in the film all emote an underlying pain despite the film taking some comedic liberties. As is common with most films based in the south, racism has its place and is rooted in the character of the town. The main characters are all very conflicted. Every character has elements that are admirable and other elements that are clearly meant to be abhorred. No one is the good guy in Ebbing Missouri.

Reasons to Love Matthew Gray Gubler
He is an amazing actor. He plays Dr. Spencer Reid perfectly. I can not see anyone else in that role. His personality. He is adorable. He is precious and needs to be protected. Yes, I have fallen in love with a nerd and a dork. It is all good though. He has a huge heart. So kind and gentle. He is hilarious. His tweets are always so funny. He always makes me smile when I am down. He is such a funny and goofy guy. He is a total sweetheart. He is so nice to his fans and really cares about them. He loves us as much a we love him. He loves all things Disney. He loves Mickey Mouse and Disneyland. Anyone is a Disney fan is a friend in my book. Mismatched socks. Enough said. He is a weirdo, a nerd, and a dork. I totally love him for it. He is unapologetically himself. I love that he is himself and doesn't care what anyone else thinks. His drawings. They are amazing. I cannot draw at all. I will stick to culinary. He is an amazing guy. He inspires me everyday. Seriously what goes on in that adorable mind of his? His home. It looks like a castle out of a Disney movie. It so beautiful just like the person that lives there. It is so cozy as well. His voice. It is so soothing to me and I could listen to it all day. If I could have some narrate my life Matthew is who I would pick. Forget Morgan Freeman. His hair. He can pull off any hairstyle. I don't know about dreads. I feel only Samuel Larsen can pull that off. How I can tell what season of Criminal Minds this is? I just look at Matthew's hair. His eyes. They are so beautiful. I have noticed the way he smiles through his eyes. The fact that he loves Halloween and fall. That is my favorite season as well. Pumpkins, candy corn, ghosts, apples, etc. I love it all. What is not to like about him? He is adorable and the prefect guy. Well at least to me. He is my Prince Charming and I love him to death. He is so handsome. I don't want to be shallow but he is gorgeous. He is smart and a nerd. I will take brains over brawn any day. He is so relatable. I'm weird as well. I can relate to Spencer Reid as well. Why isn't Reid real? His website is amazing. It is called Gublerland. It is his version of Disneyland. He hand drew everything himself. Go check it out. He has a childlike innocence to him. I love the way he looks at the world. I love that he has held on to that. He is a beautiful soul and has an old soul. He has directed ten episodes of Criminal Minds. The ones I have seen so far are amazing.

Movie Review: 'Father Figures'
Was there a gun to someone’s head forcing them to make the movie Father Figures? I am struggling to understand how this movie exists. Father Figures stars Ed Helms and Owen Wilson as twins, we’ll get to that, who go on a road trip to visit men who may or may not be their biological father. The film seems to have been slapped together without much thought or care or with any semblance of humor.
