I Went to the Movie Theater Every Day for 25 Days
No, you didn't read the title wrong, I actually left my house EVERY DAY just to go to the movies. I wanted to speak on the industry that I once held so dearly, and actually live with 25 days of the "movie-going experience". I have a passionate love for movies but in recent months I never went to the theater. It wasn't the films that were keeping me from going, it was the prices, Netflix, and comfort. I didn't intentionally start this experience, although I'm not sure who would. I just found myself going to the movies three days in a row and thought for some very strange reason that I should try and do this every day for as long as I could. *If you're just here for reviews keep scrolling.*

9 Movies to Look out for This Summer
After the tremendous success of Infinity War, summer is about to officially kick off with this week's Deadpool 2, followed by Solo: A Star Wars Story the week after, then Ocean's 8, Incredibles 2, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Ant-Man and The Wasp, Skyscraper, Mission Impossible: Fallout, andThe Megin the upcoming months. With very few stinkers in sight, it should be a solid summer with plenty of box office hits that will give the film industry a nice boost. However, there are some movies that might slip under the casual moviegoers' radar—some that might be deserving of that sweet blockbuster revenue, even if the movies themselves aren't what one would call blockbusters.

The Headroom Hijack
So this is a story that, for a while, I was a bit obsessed with. The thing I found so intriguing is that no one knows who did it or why they did it, and for me, that adds so much more to the story. It was a surreal blip that referenced 80s culture and so cryptic and well done, but to have gone to those lengths for no reason or just as a prank seems bizarre. This incident has been written about and revisited to a new level of cult status on the internet, with people suggesting endless theories. On November 22, 1987 in Chicago during TV Station WGN-TV’s very normal live broadcast of the 9 O'clock News, showing highlights of the Chicago Bears Vs Detroit Lions, an American football game that had been played that afternoon, the screen went black. Then 15 seconds later a picture fizzed in to view of a person wearing a Plastic Max Headroom mask and sunglasses nodding their head in front of a sheet of corrugated metal, which was being moved around by two people out of view of the camera. This imitated the background effect used in the Max Headroom TV show. There was no audio other than a buzzing. After 21 seconds the hijack was stopped by engineers switching to another frequency. It cut back to a baffled newsreader who said: “Well, if you're wondering what just happened, haha, so am I.”

'Hawaii Five-O'
This newer version of the show is based off the 1968 version. If you haven't seen either version of the show, the show(s) is about when Steve McGarrett returns home to Oahu from being in the Navy in order to find his father's killer. The Governor then offers him the chance to run his own task force (Five-0).

Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!
"Take my wife! PLEASE!!!!" – Henny Youngman Comedy. It is sorely missing in the world today. It was honestly the first reaction I can remember. I remember laughing as a child, laughing as a teenager, laughing as a young adult, but not laughing so much as a senior citizen. Laughing seems to be an art form from the past. It used to be pure and plentiful. Now, it is, at times, rare and even raunchy. So, where are the truly funny people?

5 Classic Game Shows That Need to Return
Game shows are making a comeback. We know that we're currently living in the era of reboots and while we continue to have the classic staples of Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, shows like Match Game, Cash Cab, and Double Dare have returned with new episodes. With apps like HQ Trivia getting over a million viewers a night, there's clearly a demand for game shows. If this trend continues, networks will look for more classic game shows to reboot. Here are the five best game shows that need to return.

Preparing for My 5 Year Cosplay Anniversary
It's hard to believe that I've been doing cosplay for almost four years. Looking back at my pictures from the different conventions I've attended over the years shows how much I've grown, not only as a cosplayer, but as a human being. I'm thankful to have met some of the most kindest and lovable people at conventions, online, and in person. I have so many cosplays planned for 2019 and they will be amazing. I'm ready to show everyone what I have in store. Next year will be bigger and badder. I'm not trying to outdo my friends at all. I just want to step my cosplay game up even further like everyone else. I know I have been saying that for the last three years, but this time, it's for real.

Stopping by Stars Hollow: A Critic’s First Watch of 'Gilmore Girls' – Season 1, Episode 1
It’s summertime, I’m a recent college grad who left her waitressing job in order to pursue a more stable career (so I’m unemployed), I live in a semi-rural town, and have no driver’s license. So what better way to spend my summer and hopefully boost my morale than watch the TV series that seems to make every Top Ten TV Sitcoms of All Time list: Gilmore Girls.
