General Hospital: Rumor mill goes wild with speculation that Lulu or Luke has died

General Hospital: There might be a third death

Soap spoilers often grasp at straws in order to gain views and right now General Hospital is the hot topic. Nicholas Chaves who portrays Spencer Cassadine put up an image that had everyone talking but now has been taken down. A grey haired woman was seen on a boat and some sources say she had an urn in her hand. This sparked the theory that it was Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and that she was going to spread Luke Spencer's (Anthony Geary) ashes in the ocean from the Haunted Star.

There are other spoilers who do not mention the urn but are reporting that Tracy is on the boat mourning Lulu Spencer Falconeri (Emme Rylan) who never came out of her coma. It would seem more likely that Tracy would be in this situation because of the man she loved rather than her stepdaughter. Luke gave the boat to Lulu but why would Tracy be holding an urn the ashes of Luke's daughter? If this is indeed what was in her hand then fans already have their answer.

General Hospital" Viewers are already distraught because of recent events

General Hospital viewers are already reeling from the deaths of baby Liam and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). On various social media platforms viewers are expressing how troubled they are that the baby boy did not get a Christmas miracle. A number of those who watch the ABC soap have said that having the infant die was harsh considering it was the holiday season. Viewers are also trying to digest that two fan favorites Burton and Ingo Rademacher (Jasper Jax Jacks) were both fired by ABC because they refused COVID vaccines.

A picture is worth a thousand words

Although Chaves took down his image it is still ingrained in the minds of those who saw it. Rumors and spoilers are growing like wildfire and everyone is putting their own spin on the situation. There is an old saying that it does no good to lock the barn after the horses have gotten away. Taking down photos once they have been seen and are being detailed across the Internet does not accomplish anything because as they say the cat is out of the bag.

On The Young and the Restless Amelia Heinle took down an image she shared that had a sign in the background welcoming Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) back home. Viewers knew at that time that the rumors of a recast in the role were true. CBS did not address the situation but it all played out. The best thing for ABC to do now is to release the truth about the storyline and prepare fans for what is to come as silence will only alienate more of those who watch the soap.

General Hospital: Luke is more likely to die than Lulu

As stated earlier, those who are saying that Lulu will die probably did not see or get the news that while Tracy was on the boat she was holding an urn. It makes more sense that she would be spreading the ashes of her beloved Lucas Lorenzo Spencer over the ocean. Tracy and Luke's first wife Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis) had formed a bond before the Quartermaine heir left Port Charles. It would be safe to say that Laura and perhaps others are on that boat as well including Spencer, to say a final goodbye.

If the writers have a method to this madness it is being lost on those who watch General Hospital. If it is Luke fans will be wondering "Why Now."? Keep in mind that when Tony Geary left GH in 2015 he said he would not return. He was lured back in 2017 for mere 60 seconds shot in a Paris cafe. Geary also said in an interview in 2010 that long-time characters should be killed off and not sent out of town to return on holidays. That is exactly what Elliot has done as this will be This will be Tracy's third return to Port Charles since her portrayer retired. Perhaps the powers that be wanted Geary to come back to Port Charles with her as a rating boost. Maybe it finally sunk in that Tony Geary saying no was final so they decided to kill him off.
