General Hospital fans believe Taj Bellow has been written out as TJ

Where in the world is TJ Ashford?

General Hospital fans are noticing the absence of TJ Ashford (Taj Bellow) in Port Charles, and discussing the situation on social media. Meanwhile, TJ's former domestic partner, Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Varganos) seems poised for a new romance. Molly keeps running into CodyBell (Josh Kelly), and on Thursday, the two were locked together on the hospital roof.

TJ's last encounter with anyone was when he ate with Lucas Jones (Van Hanis). Some fans thought perhaps the two were going to date but there is no evidence that they are anything more than colleagues and friends. Fans are concerned because Bellow's contract is up this month, and they fear he has been written out of the soap.

Is Taj Bellow long gone?

His character did not interact with anyone in Port Charles as much as with Molly, and the writers probably don't know what to do with him now. GH viewers on social media say that TJ is probably long gone because no one ever mentions him. He was not shown grieving his relationship ending or moving on as Molly is doing.

TJ should have been around the Davis family as they navigate life without Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) but he was not. He has not been involved in any scenes with any of his family members or seen working at General Hospital. Bellow took over the role of TJ in 2012 and was elated when he was given contract status even though he was not on screen much.

Did Dr. Gannon replace Dr. Ashford?

Some fans say they believe Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) was brought on to replace Bellow because he is now front and center. Lucky Spencer's (Jonathan Jackson) friend saved Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) from dying because of a digitalis overdose and is making his rounds in Port Charlie's Pub and he is privy to Sonny Corinthos's (Maurice Benard) heart condition.

He has also become friends with Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), who is TJ's mother and Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi). Isaiah has a connection with Jens Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and has interacted with more Port Charles residents in a matter of months than TJ did in all of his years in town.

TJ and Molly don't have real closure

Although TJ and Molly said their final goodbyes, some fans thought the two might run into each other occasionally in awkward moments. General Hospital quickly began putting Cody and Molly together in different settings, but no storylines involving TJ have been written.

Some viewers thought the two would watch as each one moved on with love, but this has not happened. The former domestic partners should have bumped into each other at the hospital or Charlie's but Dr. Ashford is MIA.Taj Bellow has not said anything about his status, so fans can only watch and wait for news.

TJ should be involved in current storylines

TJ should have been around for the hospital drama surrounding Sam and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) being fired. Lucas is involved in trying to get evidence on Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), interfering in Carly Spencer's (Laura Wright) love life, and spending time with Kristina but TJ is nowhere on the canvas.

It's possible that Bellow will only be off-screen for a while like Lisa Locicero (Olivia Quartermaine). Fans missed her at the Quartermaine mansion, however, she appeared in one episode last week.
