CBS soap fans desire answers

Across social media, fans of two CBS soaps have expressed their curiosity about Christel Khalil (Lily Winters on The Young and the Restless) and Jackie Wood (Steffy Finn) on The Bold and the Beautiful).

Wood has stepped away from B&B for maternity leave, but has not given an update on her status. On screen, Setffy left LA to get away from the drama of Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) trying to shoot her and being saved by Sheila Sharpe ( Kimberlin Brown).

Wood, who has four sons, is pregnant with her fifth child, and The Bold and the Beautiful viewers want to know if she has given birth and if she has a daughter.

Khalil has not announced that she is expecting, but it's obvious she is putting on weight and hiding her stomach in recent scenes. Some fans say they noticed months ago, and this is old news.

For those waiting on an official announcement, this is a current trending subject. Celebrities deserve their privacy, but when you are in the public eye every day, it's only natural that fans are curious about what is going on.

What we know about Khalil and Wood

When no announcement is made, fans discuss on Social Media forums what they are seeing on screen. Wood was pretty far along and hiding her baby bump before there was a confirmation. If a pregnancy will not play out on the soap, then it is necessary to hide it for storyline purposes.

Christel is married to Sam Restagno and has one son with him, named Remy. She has another son, Michael, with her first husband, Stephen Hensley.

Wood's husband is Elan Rustpoli, and they have four sons, Rise, Lenix, Brando, and Valor. The soap vet has nto discussed whether she hopes number five is a girl so fans will have to wait for the announcement. Some B&B watchers believe she has already given birth but is keeping quiet for now.

What happens next for Lily and Steffy?

Khalil has been playing Lily, off and on, since 2004. Wood has had the role of Steffy since 2008. Both actresses and their characters are beloved by fans.

CBS soap fans become invested in the characters and their portrayers, especially if the celebs communicate via social media. When they suddenly go dark, this only causes viewers to ask more questions. One that looms is whether Liy and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn)will eventually reunite.

Steffy and Finn's marriage has survived every challenge that came their way, but some viewers believe they are due for a breakup because no couple remains happy for long on the soaps.

One issue viewers continue to point out is that Finn does not know that while Steffy ranted about Hope Logan (Anikka Noelle kissing him, she withheld that she and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) also kissed. Could this finally be revealed and cause trouble in paradise?

Updates will eventually come from Khalil and Wood

Impatient fans are closer every day to getting updates related to whether Wood has delivered her baby and if she had a boy or a girl. Previously, she and Khalil shared intimate photos of their pregnant bellies with fans. Unfortunately, if the ladies don't decide to reveal anything, there is nothing to be done but respect their privacy and wait.

Be on the lookout for updates as Christel Khalil and Jackie Wood give them. Continue watching The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful to learn what happens next with Lily and Steffy. With Cane back in Genoa City and pursuing his former wife there is sure to be a lot of drama.
