All Marvel Movies Releasing In 2024
Deadpool & Wolverine is My Fav One

In 2024, a ton of thrilling Marvel films are scheduled for release. Even though most moviegoers associate Marvel with the MCU timeline, the success of films like Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has given us a firsthand glimpse at the possibility that other Marvel films could be equally successful. For this reason, the release schedule for 2024 is much anticipated. How many Marvel films really come out in 2024 is now a little more unclear than it may have been due to recent changes in the franchise.
The impact of the SAG-AFTRA strikes and internal reorganizations have caused several forthcoming Marvel films and television series to have their release dates rescheduled. Due to these circumstances, a few films had significant alterations, such as being pushed from 2023 into 2024, much farther into 2024, or, in an uncommon instance, being brought ahead as a result. Even though there have been some significant changes to the Marvel film slate for 2024, the current slate still has a lot of potential and should offer moviegoers an incredible array of cinematic experiences.
Venom: The Last Dance - October 25, 2024
After being pushed back twice, first from its planned July 12, 2024 release date and then again from its previous November 8, 2024 release date, Venom: The Last Dance is now scheduled for release on October 25, 2024. As the third installment in the most popular series of Sony's live-action Spider-Man universe, Venom 3 can not only clarify whether Eddie Brock's crossover moments in Venom 2 and Spider-Man: No Way Home were merely for laughs or something more, but it can also provide insight into what Sony's Marvel universe is expected to look like.
With its villain venturing into the Venom universe to engage with Mrs. Chen, the proprietor of the convenience store in both of the live-action Venom films that have been released, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse also suggests that Venom: The Last Dance may have a more multiverse-leaning plot. As of right now, Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock character is confirmed, as is the presence of Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor, but with somewhat enigmatic roles.
On June 3, 2024, the trailer for Venom: The Last Dance was unveiled, providing additional details about the forthcoming Marvel film. The film's plot faces a dual threat as the teaser teases that Eddie Brock and Venom will be pursued by characters from Venom's homeworld in addition to a mysterious government agency that seems to be interested in seizing and testing symbiotes. Notably, this scene also briefly depicts Venom bonding with a horse and teases Ms. Chen's reappearance, both of which build anticipation among fans.
It's interesting to note that the teaser furthers the notion that neither Eddie nor Venom will escape the film alive, which was first hinted at by the movie's original title, Venom: The Last Dance. Given that the earlier live-action Sony Spider-Man movies have been somewhat contentious, it will be interesting to see if this materializes and how it affects the Sony Spider-Man Universe, which centers around Tom Hardy's amazing antihero.
Kraven The Hunter - December 13, 2024
Kraven the Hunter, the final film in the 2024 Sony Spider-Man Universe, will finally hit theaters on December 13, 2024. It had been significantly delayed from its initial release dates of October 2023 and August 2024. Although this could undo the positive momentum that has already been created, there's also a chance that it will help the movie as a whole because of the jokes that were made about its early, closer closeness to the notorious Morbius that would have been avoided with a later release.
And a good reaction is important here since Aaron Taylor-Johnson's reimagining of the title Spider-Man villain, Kraven the Hunter, has a modified origin narrative that may be meant to inspire a separate series. In fact, it seems that this choice is meant to establish Kraven as a potential antagonist in the Sony live-action film universe. If the movie does well enough, it may even pave the way for a Sinister Six movie.
MCU TV Shows Releasing In 2024
The upcoming MCU TV shows releasing in 2024 have also changed as a result of similar circumstances, with Daredevil: Born Again being removed from a 2024 release date to March 2025 due to production delays. The 2024 MCU movies are not the only series that have experienced some shakeups as a result of release alterations.
In addition, Marvel said in December 2023 that Eyes of Wakanda, a brand-new animated series based in Black Panther's Wakanda, will be added to the 2024 schedule. Additionally, Agatha: Darkhold Diaries has had its name altered once more to simply Agatha All Along, and Spider-Man: Freshman Year has been renamed Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and reaffirmed for 2024. Six MCU series are presently scheduled to premiere in 2024, while nearly all of them have unclear release dates at this time and could change even after they are publicly confirmed, similar to the Marvel film roster:
X-Men '97 March 20, 2024
Agatha All Along September 18, 2024
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man TBD 2024
Eyes Of Wakanda TBD 2024
Marvel Zombies TBD 2024
Marvel Movies & TV Shows That Have Released In 2024
Echo - January 9, 2024
Many people were taken aback by Marvel's first 2024 release, which was billed as the return of Charlie Cox's Daredevil and Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin following their respective MCU cameos in Hawkeye and Spider-Man: No Way Home. However, the film was actually something very different. Even though Kingpin had a significant role despite having a very small amount of screen time, the marketing turned out to be deceptive, especially when it came to the emphasis on Daredevil. Rather, Echo tells the tale of Alaqua Cox's character, Maya Lopez, as she reclaims her roots and identity.
The story's fundamental ideas were excellent, but the cutting turned out to be incredibly erratic, and extensive post-production editing apparently did a lot of damage. Nevertheless, Echo was by no means a failure, and this instance of positive representation gets an A+. The setup for Kingpin's MCU future was quite intriguing, too, especially for the more pessimistic MCU supporters who simply wanted to see "stronger brands" advance.
Madame Web - February 14, 2024
The highly anticipated Sony film, Madame Web, made her theatrical debut on February 14, 2024, after Sony's Marvel movie release adjustments pushed it up by two days. This marked the beginning of the 2024 Marvel slate. The ensemble of Madame Web had several very amusing performances by skilled actors, including Dakota Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, Emma Roberts, Isabela Merced, and Adam Scott. Sadly, the movie received a distinctly mediocre reception; Madame Web found it difficult to surpass Morbius' box office receipts.
Regrettably, the most recent Sony Spider-Verse film is a complete disaster; it was misrepresented in its marketing, and its own actors attacked it after it came out. One small silver lining: it's become a serious contender for the title of most memeable Marvel film of all time, right up against Jared Leto's equally awful Morbius. Sony can so at least celebrate that win.
X-Men '97 - 20 March 2024
After Professor Charles Xavier left Earth at the conclusion of X-Men: The Animated Series about 30 years ago, a new generation of X-Men fans, bereft of their Saturday morning mainstay, turned to the comic books for more mutant stories. You wouldn't know it from X-Men '97's rebirth, but by that point the program had lost some of its shine. The design team led by Beau DeMayo faithfully captured all the elements that made the original so cherished, forging a nostalgic yet completely original new route for the program.
Deadpool & Wolverine - July 26, 2024
With Deadpool & Wolverine, Marvel Studios ushered in a new chapter for the MCU by featuring a Fox character in the title role for the first time. Hugh Jackman, who previously stated he was done playing Wolverine, and Ryan Reynolds, who plays Deadpool, both make a comeback in this film. Deadpool & Wolverine opened on July 26, 2024, having been rescheduled from its original release date of November 8, 2024, which had been pushed back to May 3, 2024.
Deadpool 3 is still expected to be the biggest superhero movie of 2024, despite this delay. This is partly because it is the only MCU film from Disney currently scheduled for release in 2024; Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts have been pushed to 2025. In the end, it seems like this might have been a smart decision because the announcement of these schedule changes was made following the end of the Hollywood strikes, indicating that these choices were made to allow the movies to have a complete production duration without being pushed.
The movie has a multiverse-related plot in which Deadpool is captured by Loki's Time Variance Authority and sent on a quest to stop his reality from collapsing, with the assistance of a Hugh Jackman-voiced Wolverine. There was a lot of excitement for the Marvel movie and the future of the comic book behemoth after the crossover of the Fox X-Men and MCU brands in Deadpool & Wolverine. The Marvel movie lives up to the expectations, offering a tale that strikes a mix between Deadpool's style of humor and some poignant moments.
