WARNING! SPOILERS for Agatha All Along episodes 1 through 4.

Three episodes into Agatha All Along, one of the show's biggest mysteries remains that of the true identity of the mysterious Teen, played by Joe Locke. A Witchcraft enthusiast, Teen freed Agatha from the spell she'd been placed under by Wanda Maximoff back in the WandaVision finale to seek her help in reaching the Witches' Road, claiming to seek an increase in power.

A sigil spell has been placed on Teen that keeps his name and any identifying information hidden from Witchfolk. While the spell was initially known only to Agatha, the rest of the coven discover it's existence at the beginning of the third episode.

Now, fans are speculating about who could have cast the Sigil spell on Teen. Here are a few theories.

Agatha Harkness

When the rest of the coven discovers a sigil has been placed on Teen, suspicion immediately falls on Agatha, as despite joining her for the journey down the road, none of them actually trust her. Agatha denies the accusation, claiming the spell is too clumsy to be her work. She also dismisses any importance behind Teen's hidden identity, believing that the truth will be revealed in time if it is supposed to.

However, given the theory among some fans that Teen could be Agatha's lost son, Nicholas Scratch, it is possible that Agatha could be lying when she plays dumb regarding the sigil. Maybe, Agatha did not sacrifice her son as rumoured, but instead gave him up in order to protect him from her many enemies, and even, perhaps, given the sigil hides him from all Witches, keep Nicholas safe even from herself.

Rio Vidal

Another possibility is that Rio Vidal, Agatha's enemy/former lover cast the sigil. This stems from a theory that Rio and Teen were working together to free Agatha from Wanda's spell in episode one. Rio's visit to Agatha was intended as a distraction, keeping the other witch from discovering Teen's break in until the opportune moment.

The theory goes on to propose that Rio wants Agatha to walk the Witches' Road, and that Rio has hidden Teen's identity to ensure Agatha helps him. Of course, this then raises the possibility that Teen's true identity is somebody Agatha may not have helped had she known..

Wanda Maximoff

Prior to Agatha All Along beginning to air, the prevailing theory was that Teen would be revealed as the reincarnation of Billy Maximoff, the younger of Wanda Maximoff's twin sons from WandaVision. As comic fans will know, this reincarnated Billy, known as Billy Kaplan, is destined to become Wiccan, a founding member of the Young Avengers.

We know that officially, the Scarlet Witch is dead. However, if she were somehow alive, and discovered that a version of one of her sons were still alive, she would obviously do what she could to protect him. This could also explain why Agatha perceives the spell as clumsy. While her abilities as the Scarlet Witch are powerful, Wanda is relatively new to the art of true Witchcraft.

Teen cast the sigil himself

The actor who plays Teen, Joe Locke, has also raised the possibility that his character may have cast the sigil on himself, to hide his identity from Agatha. This somewhat supports the theory that Teen is Billy Maximoff, and is hiding his identity from Agatha because she would not help him reach the Road if she knew the truth.

Now, episode four has revealed that the sigil also works on the Witch who cast it, adding yet another element of mystery. Hopefully, we get some answers before the series concludes.
