Chesterfield, Virginia's Hot Cop

According to Axios Richmond, "A photo of a 'hot cop' has gone viral." That's because a Facebook photo of a Chesterfield, Virginia officer is receiving a lot of attention. The Chesterfield County Police Department disclosed that the public has plenty to say about the photo.

News outlet Virginia Statewide Incidents posted a picture of the officer responding to a domestic incident last week, which Chesterfield police recirculated over the weekend. People in Chesterfield County, Central Virginia, other parts of the state, and even out of the country have posted comments on Facebook that the police department considered to be in good taste and safe to circulate.

Since the photo appeared on Facebook on October 11, 2025, it has received:

  • 7.3K comments
  • 2.3 shares

Jokingly, the report is that Chesterfield is about to see a crime surge — at least if the comments on the county police's recent Facebook post are any indication. People did not hold back on their comments. Comments are from locals who want to commit a crime so they can be detained by the "hot cop." Some comments are from people who want to move to Chesterfield County and run red lights to be caught by the "hot cop." Some comments are requesting that the "hot cop" be transferred to their city.
