The ending of this film is a well-designed suicide show. Cassie induced her opponent to kill herself in the play, and arranged a just procedure after death. Outside the play, when the good and evil are opposed to each other, the protagonist has many kinds of designs to die in a desperate struggle. After all, she is a screenwriter who lets villanelle kill people with Hermè s tie. Who is more familiar with all kinds of killing techniques than her, but she chose the hostess to be suffocated by a pillow. This is a bloody but extremely cruel way to die, because she just wants us to see the struggling of the hostess, unable to send out a complete syllable, and slowly return to the calm process. This is a completely oppressive killing scene, between intense and calm, between death and fainting, so that the audience can avoid the impact scene, suffocate all the emotions that may erupt under a pillow, and block this outlet. No wonder some people want to scold after watching the anger, but the director did not pass on fierce hatred through this ending.
