1. The Reunion Was Shot in April

While we are just now watching the Big Brother Naija reunion (it started airing in late June), the actual reunion according to Tolanibaj was shot on April 19 and ended on April 26 going from Monday to Monday.
2. Kiddwaya flew in from London ONE DAY before the show

We all know Kidd is a big baller who is constantly jetting around the world. It is interesting to know that the socialite’s flight actually left London the morning of the 18th which is one day prior and housemates were supposed to check in by the evening of that same day. He cut it close but thankfully he was still able to make the taping.
3. The Housemates Got Ready Together

You know, while watching the show, a lot of people thought that the housemates were just seeing themselves for the first time on that stage but that couldn’t be further from the truth. In reality, the housemates literally got ready together. That is, they were hanging out doing makeup, putting on clothes MINUTES before they got on that stage to talk with Ebuka. Even prior to their coming to the reunion venue, the housemates were staying in the same hotel. They hung out in the lobby, hung out in each other’s rooms. Again, this makes the fresh anger and fiery gbas gbos that we saw on the reunion that more interesting because for people that came stayed together, got ready together, etc. there was still a lot of anger and hostility on that BBNaija reunion stage.
4. Housemates drank before hitting the stage.

You know what is always sure to amp up an already heated group of people? Alcohol. Before the show started rolling, a number of housemates took shots. This information might help explain why some people were being bolder, louder, and more aggressive than they normally are. The liquid courage was hitting!
5. Lucy was helping Kaisha before the whole incident

What is also interesting to know is that on the first day of shooting the show when Kaisha was sitting next to Lucy, Lucy was actually looking for Kaisha – helping her organize her hair, etc. This makes the fight that broke out between the two later on in the reunion that more surprising because it’s so random where that anger and hostility from Kaisha came from for two people who seemed to have no beef prior to that moment.
6. The Reunion Wasn’t Shown In Chronological Order

As a viewer watching the reunion show, it’s easy to imagine that what you saw happened in chronological order. In actuality, it didn’t. For example, the ‘traditional’ look day was actually the FIRST day of shooting while that Erica and Laycon episode addressing their beef was shot on Day 3. Crazy right?
7. Shooting On That Last Day Went VERY LATE

Shooting the last episode of the reunion took a lot of time. Housemates shot that episode way past 1am in the morning. Keeping up that energy and still maintaining beauty as you can imagine took quite a bit of work especially at that time of night.
Well, there you have it folks! To watch a Behind The Scenes vlog courtesy of TolaniBaj herself where you get to see everything for yourself, see below.
