The afternoon was a big one for police captain Olivia Keller, as she had some important news to announce during her press conference.

"As you all know," said Olivia, "a wave of jewelry heists have plagued the town for weeks, and we finally have a name in collection with the heists." The press waited with bated breath as Olivia paused, preparing to finally reveal the person behind this elaborate crime.

"An arrest warrant had been prepared for Gloria Guenther," said Olivia. "Miss Guenther had actually contacted this department and admitted to the thefts, adding that she had committed these crimes out of a desperate need for excitement. The warrant was prepared, but unfortunately, Miss Guenther was found dead, a single gunshot wound to her head. A note was left where Miss Guenther confessed to her crimes."

As Olivia did her presser, one of her officers had a lot on her mind. Stephanie Crouse had images of that visit to Gloria's house circling in her memory, with the main one being Gloria's body shown right in front of her. She also feared for Olivia's safety as the presser progressed, as Stephanie was certain that Gloria's death was not a suicide, and she needed to make sure everything was protected.

Later that evening, Olivia drove home thinking heavily about the press conference, but as she entered her home, she did so truly believing that the worst was truly over. However, moments after Olivia entered her house and sat down to relax, she ended up on guard, as she heard her door closing. Olivia had her gun ready to use if needed it, but once she reached the front of the house, she saw a familiar face.

"Stephanie?!"

Olivia's officer, Stephanie Crouse, appeared with her own gun in hand, and once Stephanie looked around and saw that the coast was clear, she and Olivia closed the blinds, and they suddenly kissed each other in a heated act of pure passion.

"We did it, babe," said Stephanie.

"I told you we would," Olivia said with a sly smile.

"Poor Gloria," Stephanie said in a mocking tone. "If she hadn't somehow recognized me under the mask. That's one loose end taken care of."

"You handled it so well," Olivia cooed. "All my years at that station and nothing to show for it. Now, we have more than they gave us. And we are totally in the clear."

Olivia and Stephanie kissed once again, and the pair celebrated the success of their crimes in romantic fashion. It was a plan that was months in the making; motivated by greed and opportunity, and it was completed once Stephanie took care of the couple's one loose end, under Olivia's orders. The couple's crimes, as well as their relationship, continued to remain under the radar. Olivia went into early retirement, Stephanie was promoted for her role in cracking the case. Both women were hailed as heroes, with absolutely no knowledge or awareness of their true colors as criminal robbers.
