The Scarlet Sentinel
A wrestler's feud with an unhinged masked villainess comes to a head

"Everything you have should be mine!"
"I'm coming for you!"
"You're mine!"
As Danica Walsh stood in the ring, a number of the threats hurled at her for the last five months were remained in her mind. The perpetrator of said threats was her opponent, who was making her way to the ring. Enter the Scarlet Sentinel, a masked villainess donning a cape and a full red and gold bodysuit. The Sentinel's identity was a mystery entering this bout, but what wasn't a mystery was the attacks delivered by the Sentinel in the five months that have passed since debuting at Alpha Wrestling Revolution.
The bell rang, and Danica went right for the mask of the Sentinel, who kept ducking Danica's attempts to unmask her. Danica was fired up for the whole match. The Sentinel spent five months terrorizing AWR with her haunting promos and her attacks on several wrestlers, with her weapon of choice being a tire iron. The centerpiece of the Sentinel's unhinged fury was Danica, who had been AWR for five years, held their top title three times, and was promoted and praised heavily by the promotion's Director of Operations, Celia Henton.
More than the Sentinel's attacks, a reason for Danica's furious onslaught was because of who she believed the Sentinel was. Danica had suspected that the woman behind the mask was Rose Penner, a rival of Danica's from developmental who longed to be part of AWR, and didn't appear to be happy with Danica's elevation. All of this weighed on her mind as the two foes fought each other, tooth and nail, for 20 minutes. Finally, Danica managed to fight off a potential submission move from the Sentinel, and delivered her finisher, the "Walsh-Out" (a modified spinebuster) for the victory.
It was moment of truth time. Danica removed the mask, expecting to see the face of her indies rival. Instead...
"Celia?!"
Celia Henton, AWR's Director of Operations and Danica's biggest supporter, was Danica's biggest villainess.
"You took everything from me," snarled Celia. "Everything!"
Celia had been a wrestling star 20 years prior, but a severe knee injury ended her career. She had remained insistent that she could continue, and continued training for a potential comeback, but she was told many times that it was too risky for her to compete. Celia's determination turned into bitterness, which developed into a maniacal need for vengeance. She transformed herself into the evil Scarlet Sentinel to unleash a violent onslaught towards her own roster, attacking and injuring five women with the tire iron. Celia hit her victims in the same place: the knee.
Celia was fired as Director of Operations and banned from wrestling. Danica not only moved on from the Sentinel, she reconciled with Rose, who heard about everything and praised Danica for her success, with Danica revealing that Celia had tried to manipulate Danica into believing that Rose was the Sentinel. Danica's career continued on, and this time, she had a genuine supporter in the form of Rose.
