Introduction

This is for KA Stefana's Warm Weather Challenge which you can read about here:

The music is Sam Fender's "People Watching" cos we all do it.

The Artists

They were artists, that is all they were, but they gave their all into the art, and shared their love and success with all who wanted or needed it. They asked for nothing, just as long as they could create, and many were so impressed with what they did, that they made sure that the two artists had all they needed to create their work.

It was a magical situation. Their stories and paintings made everyone's lives better. If things were not good for someone seeing a painting or reading a story by The Artists made things much better because they showed how good life really was.

Things would always go wrong, but that was not the end of the world, when things went wrong, there was always a way to make things better and The Artists indirectly always helped people to find the way and put them on the right path.

When it was raining The Artists showed that the rain would feed the crops and soon the sun would return and the weather would become warmer, and, without fail, that always happened.

No one knew who The Artists were or where they hailed from, some said they were from Elfland or from Tir Na Nog and were fairy folk, but The Artists never let people know their name. They just shared their art, stories, carvings and creations and made the whole world a perfect place to be.

People could not remember when The Artists were not there, their parents and grandparents knew them which added to the belief that they were fae folk or elves, they lived in a different timeline to mortal humans, but humans did not want to live without them.

The Artists made people believe they could succeed in any worthwhile endeavour and lives were lived to the fullest by all who knew The Artists.

Some thought they were Angels, and they may have been that two. They transcended dimensions and millennia were blinks of an eye to them, but they cared for and helped all who needed them.

Their spoken words and stories were put in books that were free for all to read in libraries and their paintings hung in galleries and in people's homes for inspiration and beacons of hope if times were hard.

Although people were not always aware of The Artists, they were aware of the effect they had on the life of everyone.

All worked together for the good of all, if someone needed help they always got it, and when people succeeded everyone celebrated with them.

People wondered if The Artists had children but then decided that their creations were their children, and The Artists always effused love, happiness, joy and encouragement as well as helping hands for all when they were needed.

Throughout the year, the weather was always perfect. It rained, it snowed and the summer sun brought forth leaves and flowers. People believed that this was because The Artists were always with them.

The Artists energy flowed into the people of Earth, making them more positive and believing in each other and their ability to make things better.

People built, educated and cared for those that needed it, and that came from the positive energy that The Artists let flow into the populations. No one knew how it worked, it just did, and because of that everyone accepted it and were very grateful for it.

The Artists inspired all to find the best ways of doing things, and the Earth was a paradise for all. Poverty and hunger did not exist, there was plenty for all and everyone had all that they needed. Because of that, there was no crime or war.

All people saw was love and progression and The Artists would always answer questions if people needed answers, although The Artists would normally gently nudge them in the right direction and people would believe that they found the answer themselves, making them more capable of tackling the next big question.

The Artists would always be here, proving answers and energy and making like good on the paradise that is Earth. Generations would live wonderful lives and give birth to new generations while The Artists would watch on.

Artists and writers see things differently and either through pictures and/or words tell things and ideas the way they understand. Good essay.

    Beautiful really beautiful ✍️🏆🌺🌺🌺

  • How did the people know they were happy if they were never sad, or filled if they were never hungry, or that life was perfect if it never was not? It's a lovely, aspirational vision, Mike.

    Really nice <3

  • Beautiful art. We take art and artists for granted, much of the time. A great tribute!
