January 22 Dear Diary, It’s been a week since I heard from Maddi. I have tried texting, face-timing, and calling each with no avail to connecting with her. Am I concerned? Hmmm, let’s see. I started having difficulty staying focused on work, so of course I’m concerned. There was just something that didn’t sit right with me in our last conversation. John’s behavior was a resonating enigma in my conscience. I wish I had more of an opportunity to build a better connection with John. In my time getting to know him, I felt he was warm hearted and chivalrous, but his perception was based on my first impression of him. I started to think back to the day I met him for the first time.

Passive Demon
God if your hearing me I think I'm far to lost for saving, I have done so many wrongs and never even tried to correct them, I blame myself I brought myself down this road and now I have to see it through. If only... if only I would have taken it more seriously I could have lived my high school years different, I could have been with her God I'm so angry, Angry that I'm weak, Angry that I chose the first option I came up with and I'm really angry that I left her by herself we've been together since we where kids, inseparable for so long and I have ruined that and now I must learn to live with that, as things are for me now I would rather die than to get her involved, but this is torture I am now forced to see the love of my life falling for another man and what's even worse is that our colleges merged so me along with all my demons are now lurking the halls of the university, God please continue to keep her safe and please keep those demons away from her i want to keep this lifestyle I live a secret from her for as long as i can in your name i pray... Amen.

Back ‘home’, Claire was thankful for the silence of desolation. The rage induced by Gabriel’s confession was threatening to consume her. Why would the angel do something so stupid?! She stopped, looked to the sky, and let out a scream in an effort to quench the fire inside of her. As her echoes dissipated in the cool, humid air, the tremors began under her feet. Her head on a swivel looking for a source, Claire found nothing out of the ordinary. But they continued, neither getting stronger nor weaker.
