PRELUDE. A small, dim light cast a deep yellow glow over Cori Desmond’s face as she sat in the back of a late-night lounge. The lighting danced off the toffee hues of her brown skin and caused flecks of gold to flash in her deep dark eyes. Jet black curls framed her oval face, which dawned a slight trace of makeup behind her face mask. Couples filled the place tonight for Valentine’s Day, but Cori sat alone nursing a glass of dark red wine while she patiently waited for Carter to take the stage.

The Brotherhood of Kings
The Brotherhood of Kings Ascension Chapter 1 The Unbound King There weren't always dragons in the Valley. Once, the heavenly realms and the Valley of Prime had been populated by angels, beings of light, heat, and immense radiance. These angelic entities tended the world and served the rare, gifted mortals capable of harnessing the aetheric power of the divine realms. Called Light-Bringers, Torch-Bearers, miracle workers, and more, the most common term for these empowered mortal souls was Magi or Mages.

Dragon of the Second Son
There weren’t always dragons in the valley. The valley that was once so sweet and rich with life was beginning to show signs of decay. The trees and flowers stopped growing, the brook dried up two years ago. They were not at all vibrant in color like they used to be, there used to be so many shades of green. This was not just in the valley. A gentle roll of thunder was heard by a small boy who turned his head perplexed because he had never heard sounds like that from the sky at all. He knows birds and wind through the trees but not this…

Liken to One Love
She walked to the tennis courts, not far from the parallel street sweet shop. It was hot and sunny at the worst possible time of day, straight up noon. Sunscreen in hand, she felt undaunted by the blazing sky. There were tall Elm like shade trees over hanging above the 10 foot fences surrounding the courts in every corner. Shade could be found there if the angle of the sun was right behind any of them.

Something Darker; Chapter 13
It's been about a week, and V doesn't seem to be getting any better, but she doesn't seem to be getting any worse either. When Zanthus talks to me, he doesn't seem to care one way or the other, but with how much time he spends sitting by her side, I'm fairly certain he does care. Thankfully, Eren is too busy running amuck to notice how often Janice, Mum, and I slip upstairs to ask questions.

The Diary of Mishelle Gold
It’s only been a few days since I last wrote but so much has happened!!! I’ve managed to sell 2 houses in Florida = 1 x $5 million / 1 x $3 million = giving us a nice commission. I’ve done the virtual tours again, and just on those alone they sold. Mary wants me to carry on (if I can) and I am thinking maybe I can. Whilst we’re still here, I’ll do what I can. Jack seems to think it’s a good idea, especially if I can do this from home. We’ll see. I’ve got another 6 houses on my list but I’m going to give 4 of them to Mary to hand out because I’m just not sure I’ll have the time in the next few months.

Druids of the Valley
There weren’t always Dragons in the Valley. We had always been relatively peaceful people. The Druids of the Valley were kind, open to outsiders, and very giving when it came to our plentiful crops. We provided food for the whole continent, and we spent our days living wholesome, full lives. That changed, though, when the Dragons rode in.
