Dazed and Confused
Hello, Earthling. We’re here on a research mission. Perhaps you can help us. Our ship landed in what we understand to be an office park, where sometimes humans do business. We were watching you remotely for a long time before our on-planet mission was approved, and we’re perplexed about your work uniforms.

Magi
Low rumbling; soft heat. Growing louder building up. I fire, life ends. -- My arm jolts, ozone collects within the filters of my suit’s helmet; from the barrel of my Fulgor Carbine, a pulsating ball of plasma explodes, carried forward by a small magnetic charge.

Escape From New York
Juxanni soared above the skyscrapers of New York, clandestine in his stealth mode, spy mission completed. Or so he thought. Helios, the Sun Prince, Heir to the Throne of Haven was not so easily fooled as the humans below and America’s primitive surveillance systems. Juxanni sighed. His ancestors dealt with beasts and demons, he had to deal with alien Gods. There was no need for stealth anymore, so he shut off his armor’s invisibility function and flew as his people did back home, haughty and for all the world to see. The arrogant godling smiled, his signature, a thing of white that made girls swoon and villains soil their pants.

THE DAY THE WORLD WAS UNITED
In the early spring of 2053, a year seemed to start as other previous years with warm weather, blue skies, and plenty of sunshine flowers blooming and warm breezes. Everyone enjoyed the outdoors, having BBQs, going for walks, kids playing, and riding bikes. Everyone seemed to be saying goodbye to the previous frigid winter.

Evolution
I don’t know why I noticed him, why I even bothered to register his presence. Maybe it was his attitude—that curiosity he carries with him even now. A half smile on his lips, his pale gray eyes clear, expression soft and kind. He dressed like us, wore the same filthy, thread-bare uniform, and carried a shovel of his own. But his head was unbowed, his shoulders straight. And there was a calm about him that attracted me despite my resistance to emerging from the safety of my shell.

Cyber Hunter
Data is everything, that’s the world we live in now. Reality, material, it all became little more than inconvenience. Everyone escapes to immaterial, to zeros and ones. Reality became too much for them, for the average Joe who just wanted to have a good time. Money, food, crime, pain, even death. The basic things that make life became anathema to what people wanted. Now, they found a way to run from it.

The Shipmate
The Shipmate How It Started Being out in space can really make you think about your life choices, when I agreed to this mission I didn’t think that I would end up on an uninhabited planet with a creature helping me to survive until I can find a way home, but here I am. It all started the day my department was visited by the head people in charge of the company, they were looking for volunteers for a secret project that would soon be announced once they had everything in place. They were going around each department looking for people to participate in a series of tests, I was the last one they talked to and everyone else had already said they could not do it, it helps that I was the only one without a family. Both my parents were gone and I was an only child so I was the perfect candidate for the project, however, I still had to complete the test in order to be selected for the project. The tests were relatively easy to do but I was not the only one buzzing through them, there was a man from another department who was also having an easy time with them so I was really nervous about beating him.

Algoria and the Maidens Key
The year is 3025, and the world is controlled by mages and templars who are in a constant battle for control over the people of new Algoria. It wasn’t until late 2026 that the world started to fall apart from madness, corruption, and dominance that the world leaders showed. Through political actions everyone lost their rights as well as the will to live. Oil was lost, gasoline was almost gone and food production was almost forced to stop. An order arose through military power and they called themselves the Templars of Atlas and strangely enough people were given strange powers. The people with powers thought they were chosen to defeat the templars and they called themselves the mages of old. It was said the two battled so hard that the demons below were rattled out of their cages and started to spawn on Earth. Not only did monsters of every size spawned but a disease from above crashed into this world and caused a sickness like no other. The infected were called reapers because they changed into creatures known as zombies and they blindly hunted and fed upon weary travelers on the old open cities. It wasn’t but a century ago that the two rivals joined forces to create Algoria with a council to see over them. Together they backed off the demons and reapers to the outskirts passing the men of old built. Algoria was seen by other villages as a city of paradise.
