Adventure
Faylanduil The Great
Faylanduil the Great looked down amidst the pitched night, his sight undiminished, as he beheld the small human child. Katydids and crickets cut through the humid darkness, a blanket of noise that enveloped the two beings that stared at one another, both unsure of what to make of the other.

Oracle
Slyfinor was gazing mindlessly into the seemingly endless sky. He could hear someone calling his name. He could hear, but he could not; It was too complicated to explain. The bird calls from high above were like a melody drifting down to his ears, dancing about his mind; concealing it from the outside world. His boot tapped the floor to match the rhythm of the jungle song. Yes, It was an unearthly noise, it was; buzzing, crowing, hooting, and then- Yes there it was! A loud roar.

The Lion of Garatoth
The air of war surrounded me. Thousands of boots marching in sync produced an earthquake that rattled my very bones. Shouts mingled together into a raucous cacophony. Though I had no view out of my cramped tent, I could see the soldiers in my mind’s eye: smiling, backs straight, eyes forward. Confident.

In the Nest
Gus heard talk of a creature that roamed the forest from a port village first. But most of the villages spoke of the creature. Some only spoke of one, but if you listened close enough to the stories it sounded more like there were about three or four that had been seen moving in the vast sea of trees that bordered the valleys villages. From the ocean, that presumably was past some of the trees, ships that came to port told of sightings of the great winged creatures as well.

The Allie
Good enough. Deciding I'm in a close enough area to the hunters' frequent sighting reports, I stop to set the bait. Casting a wary eye around the dark woods, I unsling my pack. Pulling out the dirty golem, I lay its inanimate form on the ground, examining it by moonlight. The golem, shaped to look like a toddler-aged boy, disgusts me. Its bland gray limbs are stuffed into ratty children's clothes. It's been rubbed down in grime and sweat and shit so it smells as if a child had been left alone for days out here.

The War of Aeternum Nivis
Thundering roars and cries of bloodshed echoed against the snow-covered mountains of Aeternum Nivis. For years, the frost dragons of Nix Alis and the humans of Nix Venae feuded through snow and storm. The Nix Alis were returning from their latest retaliation to a Nix Venae raid of the Northern mountainside. Their azure scales with streams of silver sparkled brightly as they flew under the moon’s glow. Their massive, opal wings ached, and their throats were scratchy. It would take some time for their frost breath to recover before the next ambush.

Sixth Degree Burns.
Before I tell you the details of our plan.. I’ll tell you our “villein” origin story. My sisters & I are an anomaly, if you wana call it that. We all carry active dragon genes. Which SHOULD be impossible (the government says). The norm is one active gene dragon per woman. That’s how it’s been for..for-ever. My sisters and I are all active dragons. Not just one kind of dragon but each one of us has our own clan, our own colors, and our own powers. There’s Red Dragons( Me),the Green/Emerald dragons(Casey) have powers like acid breath & toxic talons, the Gold Clan(Derrey) controls and manipulats electricity, Blue Dragons(Ash) have the gift of cloneing, Purple(Faye) can use absorption and fusion,Black or white dragons (Britt), can read minds & control illusions. I don’t know what caused this to happen but the breeders were sure it was our mom. She Herself, a dormant dragon, should never have been capable of making us. Let alone 6 different clan dragons. They took her from us. As soon as my youngest sister Casey, opened her emerald/green dragon eyes. She was no longer our mother. She belonged to the city. It was her duty to make more dragons. I guess our mom knew what was to come. She didn’t fight or plea. She looked at all of us one last time and said “stay together”. Which was easy for a while. They let us stay together since “none of us were of age.” So Since we couldn’t use our powers or make more dragons we were considered useless and not a threat.

The Fable of The Dragon Prince
Fire fumed through the trees, withering them away with its heat. Ash rained from the sky, settling on an infant boy. His cries echoed through the forest. The crashing of footsteps as a large silhouette approached the child. With every cry, it drew closer, until it was face to face with the smut-covered baby. If it weren’t for the illumination of the flames, the creature would have blended into the night. The dragon's mouth simmered; sparks danced through its teeth as it examined the child. The youngsters cries quickly turned to giggles, amused by the dancing sparks. Imitating the dragon, the baby’s teeth too began to spark. Small flames made their way through the gaps of what little teeth the infant had. Curious still, the boy reached out and touched the dragon. In an instant, the dragon recoiled, roaring in pain.
