Adventure
Tanwen Shatterscale
“I YIELD,” Tanwen screamed as she woke, dragged from her troubled dreams by a deep sense of foreboding. She shook her head violently as she rose, trying to quickly dispel the terrible images that had tormented her sleeping mind. Her younger sister’s fiery maw still filled her vision despite waking, and Tanwen shuddered at the thought of those dreams coming true. It had been years since she’d had a nightmare like that, and she wasn’t happy going through it once again. Tanwen liked to think she’d left thoughts of her sister and the rest of the clan behind, but clearly living apart from them for so long did little to dispel the emotions attached to them. Slowly, as she tried to move on, it dawned on her that the feeling of unease hadn’t lessened after waking. Tanwen glanced around, careful to keep her nictitating membranes closed against the glare of late afternoon sunlight that was filtering into her cave.

No Where They Could Run
Chapter 1 From The Eye and Ears of a Dragon A mother dragon was gathering food for feeding her newborn young when she found what appeared to be an abandoned toddler wondering alone in the forest. Immediately her motherly instinct was to take it and protect it from the robots or the male dragons, but out of fear that it was a trap she stopped herself. Robots were known for luring and trapping mother dragons so they could capture their babies only for them to never be seen again.

Dragons Recompense
Zarel, the dragon, flew back from his escapade of plunder, destruction, and hunting. His hunting was something more fierce though. He was without mercy, compassion, and love. His hunt had destroyed an entire village in a clearing just outside the forest he knew as his home. He flew back with the taste of vengeance in his heart, a good feeling to him.

A Childs Saviour
A Child’s Savior The night's gush was violent and merciless, greater than it tends to be. A clear night sky with a moon so bright it almost felt like the sun never sat. The mountains roared from the barrage of winds slamming unto them, the pines creaking, almost begging for mercy. Though some might consider twice before embarking quest upon this land, there are great magical creatures that could go toe to toe with the sun and moon. As if it appeared from thin air a silhouette of a winged creature flew across the moon in the sky. Flying through the harsh breeze with ease, it became clearer, adorning a robust body trickled with the marks of age. Nevertheless, it meant nothing to it, its wings as wide as the mountain ranges it flew over, talons sharper than the obsidian these lands birthed, and a breath of blaze that no heat on earth could match. It began descending unto the highest of peaks, careful to position itself as it came to a stall before gripping unto the clearing, snow quaked off the peak dropping unto its back, a white blanket of snow covering its pitch-black scales. Then there the dragon just stared into the night, pondering, and admiring. Elsewhere not so far off, others embarked on a journey, a journey that'll end before it even began.

Son of the Mountain Dragon
Hariric had seen so many things in his time alive. He’d seen little, green, fresh sprouts turn into mighty trees that survived forest fires and floods. Entire mountaintops had vanished from erosion or sprouted up from mighty earthquakes. There had been years so dry that even Hariric, who despised the rain and cold it brought with it, found himself praying to feel just a drop of it on his face. Sometimes, if Hariric sat still long enough, he could watch the moss and vines that had managed to grow on his scales continue to spread out further. However, nature hadn’t been the one that had changed the most in the centuries Hariric had dwelled on earth.
