PARASITIC RELATIONSHIPS
Acrostic Short Story in 1000 Words

Picking up my purse, I prepared to leave the strange flat. Looking around at my unfamiliar surroundings, I soon found something untraceable that I wanted. I grabbed the stones I saw inside a bowl on the side table, and then noticed last night's Fling’s wallet beside the bowl.
As I rummaged through his billfold, quickly looking for any cash my mark may have, I noticed his ID card. I hastily looked it over before returning it to its slot. Hirudo Sanguisuga, 5’11”, 180 pounds, brown hair and eyes. So this is who I went home with last night. It didn’t change anything. I’d gotten what I wanted, and I always stuck to my plans.
Riding the elevator down to the lobby, I was glad to see that the doorman from the night before was off duty, and a new one was working. It's not like I was recognizable this morning, having donned a wig and different-styled clothes than I had entered the building. I always showed up prepared with a quick change.
At the corner, I surreptitiously pulled a baseball cap from my pocket and tossed my blonde wig into my backpack. None of the targets have ever been able to trace me, and I never hit the same one twice. I wasn’t born yesterday, and my mama didn’t raise no fool.
Swiftly, I crossed to the subway station, where I would go home and clean up, preparing to do the night before all over again. Tonight, I think I’ll go over to the new dive on Malibu Avenue and see who I can pick up. It's Wednesday, so it'll be full of single bachelors looking for a good time. It won’t be hard to find one that’s perfect for my goals.
I’ll wear my sleek black mini with 6-inch heels. Men loved small women, but wanted those legs as long as they could get them with as big boobs as they could get. Well, I was small, had a hell of a figure, and with those heels, my legs appeared to go on forever. Guys have been known to drool over me on more than one occasion.
Taking caution to make sure I wasn’t followed, I soon arrived at my building. I stopped and picked up a newspaper from the kiosk on the corner before entering the lobby and heading to my floor. I’d carefully chosen this complex because to enter, one had to be let in or use a key, and there was no doorman. So, there was never anyone here to notice my comings and goings.
I adjusted the huge plastic-framed glasses I was wearing, purposely making myself look like a mousey librarian, effectively camouflaging myself among my neighbors. None of them suspected what I did for a living. This was something my mother made sure I understood when she was teaching me the “Game”. Never to cross my two lives.
Cheerfully, I entered my apartment and closed the doors. Looking around, I carefully choose a perfect spot to display the oddly shaped stones. Then I sat down at the table to count the money I’d taken from Hirudo’s wallet.
🪱🪱🪱🪱
Raging mad, I should've expected it from her, but I had let my guard down. Needing a little release, I never even thought anyone would steal from me. The money, I didn’t mind. God, she more than earned it with her acrobatics in bed last night. Shoot, $225 is child’s play in my business. I could make that up in no time at all.
Except she had to go a step further and steal something even more valuable. A rarity so pure as to only belong to my race. She had to steal my Hiranyagarbhas.
Little did she know that I snuck a peek at her wallet last night while she was checking out my home bar. I was already planning on paying her a visit. She’ll see me sooner than I originally planned.
I decided to wait until the next morning to call on her. Meet her inside when she comes in from the night before. A bitch like her, this wasn’t her first time. Oh, no. She was trained and primed to do what she does. She won’t expect to see me inside her home.
Opening her door was a breeze for me, so many locks, but all with simple mechanisms. The security in this whole building was a joke, honestly. I slipped inside as quickly as a lubed dick into a slick pussy.
Never in my long life has a host ever pulled anything like this. I always picked a certain type, and she fit the vapid personality I normally chose last night. She was a wonderful actress, obviously, and Hollywood was missing out.
She walked into her apartment, and I was sitting on her couch, waiting for her. I never even gave her a chance to scream. I was up and at her in no time.
Holding her tightly to me, I allowed my true form to appear, probing her with dark tendrils of evil. Tasting her glorious essence, I gorged fully. It had been so long since I was able to obtain such a succulently shrewd essence that I had almost completely forgotten the scrumptious taste.
I ate until there was nothing left. When I was done eating, I threw her empty husk down. Dust puffed from her mouth as she landed on the couch.
Picking up my Hiranyagarbhas, I rechecked them for damage. I see minute cracks in the shells, but I know they are due to hatching soon. Sighing with relief, I placed my children into my jacket pocket.
Swiftly, I let myself out and began to make my way across town. I’m already late for work, so I’ll have to carry the Hiranyagarbhas with me until I get home again. Three blocks down is a subway with a train arriving soon. Smiling, I pat the demon offspring inside my pocket and head that way at an easy stride.

I’m glad that I read this after reading your other acrostic story. It’s thrilling! Seems that there is more than one kind of parasitic relationship in this world—and not all of them you can survive. Well done!
I love this, I love this, I love this!!! You do such unique mixtures of story and poetry. I've never seen an *acrostic* story before. First Time Ever for me. Rock On, girl! ⚡😁👍
Well this was a delightfully wicked turn!
Very compelling story !!!
First acrostic story I think I've ever read! And what a twist! Yikes and double yikes with these two!
Really cool how you used the acrostic to tell such a vivid story.
There's always a worse monster, haha. Loved the change from her to him as a point of view. Wasn't expecting the twist of the guy being a demon, but you blended it so well, MC. <3 Wonderfully crafted acrostic fiction! :D
Even I had to check what Hiranyagarbha is? I just knew it's Sanskrit. Not my kind story, but it was written brilliantly.
Whoaaaa, you wrote an Acrostic story! That's like soooo awesomeeee! I loved it! It was so smooth, like a lubed dick entering a slick pussy. Hahahahaha couldn't help myself! I'm an agnostic for about four years now but I was born a Hindu. I was shocked when I Googled Hiranyagarbhas because I've never even heard of it before!
After reading, I went back and checked the acrostic, very appropriate. I love how it flips perspective halfway through too, so clever.
Bloody hell - I didn’t see that twist!!!! Great stuff!
I love a story with a good twist and this one didn't disappoint. Well done, MC.
Horrific thriller!!! Definitely held my interest!!!❤️❤️💕
AI ai ai! Not a creature I'd ever want to meet! Reminds me of a program that aired when I was a kid, entitled V. Had aliens that behaved exactly like this disguised as people. Scary stuff!
Riveting writing & awesome storytelling, Mother! I never saw the ending coming! Excellent work!
