Ben poured a glass of wine by the light of his laptop screen. He was writing a final draft for a story, something that would drive people crazy when it was published. At 10:23 the power went out, but he had a full charge and kept working.

Ben was deep in thought, and he missed a clicking from the front of the house as his fingers feverishly struck the keys. He typed the name, "Presidenttttttttttttttttt," before noticing the red viscous fluid running down the screen.

A second shot, and out went his laptop with the assassin. He was silenced.
