Your Guide to Adagio Tea's Sister Sites
Here's what awaits you on TeaChef, TeaMap, TeaMuse, TeaCritic and TeaChat.
Adagio doesn't just sell tea--they also maintain five sister sites that contain recipes, reviews, forums and other resources for tea lovers. The layouts are a little outdated, and web traffic isn't exactly booming, but these sites still get occasional updates that make them worth checking out. Plus, you'll get access to over a decade's worth of information.
TeaChef
TeaChef invites users to share recipes for meals, snacks, appetizers, sides and desserts that include tea. Learn how to make Strawberry In Paris Creme Brulee, Almond Cardamom Mochi Bites, Lapsang Souchong Infused Jam and other dishes with these step-by-step guides. If you like a recipe, you can sign up for an account and add it to your favorites.
Currently, the site hosts a little over 800 recipes. To narrow down your selection, scroll down and use the search filters on the left. You can also share your own recipe by creating an account and uploading a title, photo, description, ingredients and directions. The website is pretty flexible, but your recipe must include tea in some way.
Once you've tried a recipe, you may upvote or downvote the listing, leave a comment or post a review with a photo, description and star rating. TeaChef also hosts a newsletter that sends new recipes right to your inbox.
TeaMap
TeaMap is your guide to tearooms in your area. Simply enter your location, and you'll get a list of nearby tearooms with photos, addresses and star reviews. Clicking on a tearoom reveals additional information, such as the description, website, phone number and full reviews. The site gets about one or two new reviews each month, so it's not completely dead yet.
Contributing to TeaMap is fairly simple. If you notice that a location is missing, you can sign in and add a tearoom to the database. Adagio members also earn reward points every time they write a review, giving you even more reason to check out tea shops in your area.
TeaMuse
TeaMuse offers a library of articles about tea drinking, recipes, advice, health tips, pairing notes, gifts and more. Browse the latest articles, or hit the categories at the top to narrow down your selection. The search bar also allows you to search for specific keywords.
A few selections from 2025 include:
- Perfect Thanksgiving Pairings: Tea and Honey
- Best Herbal Teas for Sleep and Relaxation
- Tea Label Guide: Ingredients, Origins and More
This site doesn't update very often--you'll see one or two posts a month with long breaks in between--but it contains hundreds of free articles written in a clear, accessible language. You can't comment or add your own posts, so this is your chance to sit back and absorb the information.
TeaCritic
TeaCritic is an extensive database of tea reviews. This includes Lipton, Bigelow, TAZO, Celestial Seasonings and other brands alongside Adagio's blends. With new reviews at least once or twice a week, this is probably Adagio's most active sister site.
To look up a product, you'll use the search bar or scroll through featured blends on the front page. Each product page includes the name, brand, origin, price, ingredients and caffeine level. When you scroll down, you'll see recommendations and recent reviews.
Most of the reviews are fairly short, so this site offers more of a quick glance than an in-depth discussion. If you're an Adagio member, sign in and start adding your reviews to get extra reward points.
TeaChat
TeaChat is an online forum with dozens of boards and tens of thousands of topics on various tea-related subjects, including blends, teaware, vendors, storage and product reviews. If you have a tea-related question, you'll probably find a topic with the answer.
The only downside is that TeaChat is pretty much dead. You'll see the occasional update, but this website is more of an archive than a bustling community. Still, you're free to introduce yourself and start your own discussion. Who knows--you might attract a few lurkers.
Did you know about any of these sites? What's your favorite Adagio blend? Let me know in the comments.

NO. It's a mild, kind group. I mean there are so scary groups out there.
Interesting article. Due to health reasons I don't drink tea anymore, but I would like to. I will pass this on, to my family. Well Done!!!
