7 years of being a vegan
My first months of being vegan Initially, I started my vegan journey with a detox diet. Since early childhood, I felt too big and constantly wanted to lose weight, although I always had an optimum BMI. Losing weight wasn't easy though, as I naturally have a lot of muscles and my body just isn't built to be thin.

Do You Have to be Vegan if You Care For the Environment?
The world we live in is undergoing major transformations on so many different levels. We are not only experiencing an environmental awakening, but also a social emergence. Part of this global phenomenon is that we are becoming more aware of how our actions impact the environment and this includes what we eat, particularly when it comes to meat and other animal products. In 2018, the United Nations declared that meat, rather than transportation and industry, is the "world’s most urgent problem."

Convincing people to go vegan
How can you convince someone to go vegan? As I'm a passionate vegan myself and am interested in encouraging more people to reconsider the choice of eating meat, I wanted to publish a piece for vegans to help them at least make their friends and family consider veganism. But I was struggling to find ideas. So the thought occurred to me, why not turn to the vegan community to help answer the question? So I put out this request:

What Veganism and Environmentalism Have In Common and Is It Possible To Convert Others to a Vegan Lifestyle?
A lot of people want to go vegan because it is something they believe lines up with their morals. They are against cruelty toward animals and want to do something meaningful that will contribute to their liberation or to a better and more humane treatment during their lives in the factory farms where most of them are raised. This can be a very noble and worthy goal, but there is more to it than that.
