The Best Cookies for Santa (and for your Vegan friends)
I'm a firm believer that no one should miss out on the most important meal of the day... which is dessert!! So when I went vegan, I spent a lot of time crafting vegan dessert recipes. I went vegan by choice, but I know a lot of people who are vegan because of food allergies, including my nephew and a few of my close friends. It breaks my heart that they have to pass on delicious treats because they contain eggs/dairy/things they are allergic to! Especially since food is my love language!

Peanut Butter Crinkle Cookies
Man, I practically grew up on peanut butter cookies! My mom had a recipe using just peanut butter, eggs, and sugar that she would whip up for almost every occasion. I usually crave them around the holidays, but since I'm vegan now, I had to improvise.

Holiday Quarantine has definitely been hard on all of us. I never could have predicted that 2020 would start and end this way, and I'm sure that the business closures and social distancing has brought some unwelcome stress into our lives. WE NEED STRESS RELIEF AND WE NEED IT NOW!

Vegan Cinnamon Babka. Top Story - May 2020.
Besides it being fun to say, Babka is one of the best things ever invented. Most people think of inventions from the 1800's and their mind goes to the cotton gin, or light bulbs. And while Eli Whitney and Thomas Edison do deserve their accolades, the true unsung hero of the 1800's-- the housewives!!
