A&S Bagels
Do you like bagels? Cheese? Sweets? Food? Do you live on Long Island? Well, A&S Bagels is the perfect place for bagels. First of all, they have a deli inside too. The deli has all the good meats (including Boar's Head). They also have cheese and everything you need. They basically have a mini bakery. Including danishes, crumb cake, rainbow cookies, and black and white cookies. They also have multiple flavors of ice coffee.

Dining Out
Dining out is one of the most relaxing and satisfying feelings that everyone experiences at least a few times in their life. Maybe not so satisfying for your wallet depending on where you choose to dine, however still rewarding mentally and physically after a full belly. But for the people taking care of you all day and night it can begin to take a toll if you just can't seem to be a decent human being while enjoying your meal. Whether it's a cashier who is ringing up your order or a server who runs back and forth to cater to your every whim or even the cook who slaves over hot grills and ovens to make you a tasty treat.

Welcome to Torchy's Tacos
"Damn good" read a sign across the restaurant. My very first time eating at Torchy's Tacos was back in 2016; it was a group of friends and I at the Cinco Ranch La Centerra. I had no knowledge of what I was about to eat since at that time I could care less about food, but something changed. I gazed at the menu above the cashier and I saw a lot of combinations of a simple dish, tacos. I asked my friends around me what they recommended and they all told me their favorites. Now each answer was different. From one side you hear, "I love the 'Trailer Park" and from the other side you hear someone say, "Oh, no no try the 'Democrat'.'' I'm between two options, which is always hard when you go try something new because you don't know exactly what you want. It's my turn and I tell the lovely cashier "two Democrats." You might think two isn't enough but at Torchy's one taco is enough.

The Black Forest Inn
For those of you who have worked in the restaurant business you know it isn't an easy career. You work nights, holidays, and weekends. You miss recitals, games, and events that you look back on through pictures or videos. The same can be said for any family-run business. Seeing your family 24 hours a day seven days a week make you closer than most families, but can also cause you to grate on each others nerves more than most. The family at the Black Forest Inn in Stanhope, New Jersey manages to combine these two kinds of business and has been successful at it for 40 years. Their history is something remarkable and has survived in a town that has lost most of its business's during the years, but they have managed to survive.

Voodoo Stu’s & Black Magic Mael’s Gumbo Shack & Juke Joint
Living in Tijuana after living in Los Angeles, California all my life has had its excitement. Being adventurous in learning how to find my way around the neighborhood without being fluently bilingual has had some of its trials. But I didn’t let that scare me off! Discovering some of the city's best food it has to offer has been nothing short of rewarding. I am at the point now after living here for six months, I'll find myself searching for more there is to offer to tourists. After having quite a fill of Mexican cuisine and antojitos, I started actively looking around for different styles of food. That's when I discovered a place inside Pasaje Rodriquez, an art covered passageway nearby the border and Av Revolución called Voodoo Stu’s & Black Magic Mael’s Gumbo Shack & Juke Joint, a cozy and unique Cajun restaurant.

If you say the name IHOP anywhere in the United States of America, everybody knows exactly what you are talking about. The International House of Pancakes. It’s an American breakfast classic that seems to always rise above its other 24 hour competitors like Denny’s and Waffle House. But in the past couple weeks, IHOP has been consistently talking of changing their name. This caused quite a stir in the hearts and minds of foodies all around the world.

In-N-Out Gone Dirty
It was like any average Tuesday night. I got my usual order from In N Out- a double-single, grilled onions, no tomatoes, lettuce wrap, and decided to treat myself to a milkshake. Usually I wouldn’t go for the milkshake, because in Orange County, the high standards of looking like Victoria Secret models combined with anorexia everywhere alarms a sixteen year old girl, especially one who is already on the verge of obesity. However, I had done something strenuous that day, and I deserved it!

The Time I Went to a Café Owned and Operated by a Cult
An inconspicuous little café sandwiched between a British-themed pub and a family-style deli on Main Street, Hyannis, Massachusetts, is not where I expected a cult to set up shop. Alas. The Common Ground Café really doesn’t look cult-y at all from the outside. It’s got these big fixed windows and planters underneath them with modest petunias; perfectly boring. The exterior does surprise me, though, because I generally don’t think of cults as caring about letting in loads of natural light. Once you get inside, and it’s a whole different ball game.

Are You Ready to Teddy?
Teddy Story is a unique cafe located in the heart of downtown Toronto. The quaint little cafe opened in 2016, but it wasn't until a couple weeks ago I found out it existed. With adorable teddy bears crowding the windows and a variety of yummy looking treats and drinks, I had to go and see it all for myself.
