Blueberry Cake. Top Story - April 2018.
I happen to live in a town that has the best blueberry picking. People come from all over the place just to get a chance to pick these delicious blueberries. It makes blueberry desserts an instant go to in the summertime. Now I don't know about where you live, but where I live here in Canada, we are on our fifth winter of this year and I am over it. But since the snow isn't going anywhere for a little while, I thought the next best thing would be to make some of my favorite summertime desserts in anticipation of the warmer weather.

Essential Oils in Cooking? Yes!
Hey everyone! Yes, it is Easter time again! I just love ham, my mom's famous baked bacon beans, and strawberry shortcake and honey mustard potatoes and all that — YUM. But my favorite of all is the delightfully mouthwatering bite of a deviled egg. One ingredient that I have been experimenting with more within the last year and now cannot live without is dill. I just love the aromatic freshness dill brings to any dish — but this Easter, I hope to add it specifically to my deviled eggs recipe. Deviled eggs are that perfect snacking food to hold you over while you're waiting for that big meal at supper time. I sometimes use those dried herbs from the grocery store and usually that works okay, but when it's a holiday and I am bringing something...I want it to have showstopper flavor!
