The Versatility of Rice
Rice is actually consumed in one form or another by half of the world’s population. Brown rice is indigenous to India. It was introduced to China more than 3,000 years B.C. Brown rice found its way to America around 1647, and now the United States is one of the largest exporters of rice. Although rice is grown in more than 100 countries, 95 percent of the world’s rice is grown and consumed in Asia.

The Health & Environmental Benefits of Mushrooms
The Old Wise Man’s Knowledge Mycologist Paul Stamets has been doing research on thousands of mushroom species with hundreds of thousands more waiting to be discovered by the likes of him or people with similar interests. Paul simply does what he loves in nature by searching for the endangered Fungi species known as Agarikon and the network of white threads or roots called Mycelium or mushroom spawn. Paul believes that both the human population and Mother Earth could benefit from the existence of mushrooms which could one day save the world. From fulfilling our macro-nutrient needs to increasing our immune system in order to fight off viruses & diseases. (Stamets, 2009 & 2012) Some mushrooms, however, are now under clinical trials due to their mind altering effects which has the potential to cure a number of mental health disorders such as depression, addiction, and anxiety with many more results soon to come. And as long as there are organizations who are allowed to study any psychedelics with medicinal uses, then it could very possibly be that they have been part of our evolution for thousands of years. (Jr, 2017; Mcrae, 2017)

3 Dairy Alternatives
Hello my lovelies! This isn't exactly a meal prep recipe but I wanted to write for those like me who are lactose intolerant who love dairy but don't want to eat dairy every time we're craving cheese or ice cream. This is also for those ones who aren't lactose intolerant but don't want to feel bloated all the time after they eat a bowl of ice cream or a thick rich milkshake. When I went vegan for two weeks last year I found some great alternatives to dairy when I was making creamy sauces and stuff like that.

Sugar-Free Baking
Sugar-free baking is my specialty. You use stevia and honey. While there is also a substitute for brown sugar, brown sugar is okay to include but you need to reduce the amount you use instead. You can make sugar free baklava while making the honey syrup. Sugar substitute stevia actually has some sugar in it but it is less caloric than real sugar. The thing about artificial sweeteners such as Splenda, Equal, or Xylitol is that some of it can kill you. Artificial sweeteners are not necessarily the healthiest option. Stevia comes from a plant, and it has no calories.

Healthy, but Good Tasting Recipes
So one thing you can do is start by drinking protein shakes every day. If you need to gain weight: use milk and add some ice cream, but not Halo Top, Swell, or Enlightened. Those are healthier and will be better if you add it in your protein shakes for fat loss since it has low calories and sugar, but has more protein. Drink two cups of water in the morning before eating. Throughout the day, drink six more cups of water. Drink at least four cups of water in the day before drinking soda. Try to drink diet sodas. For a fluffy dessert mix 1/4 cup vanilla protein powder, 1 cup frozen blueberries, and a 1/8 cup of milk. It makes a fluffy snack or dessert. Get rices cakes and put protein butter on it. When you go out to eat, get what you want, but do not do this daily. Try ordering a salad, maybe share it with someone. Make your own desserts. I posted some recipes here. I will show more recipes in a different post. Your dessert can have a lot fewer calories, sugar, and carbs. It will most likely have more protein and it can still taste very good. If you are still hungry, eat a piece of dark chocolate or maybe cheese or turkey bacon. When you feel full, stop eating. If you overeat you won't feel good. You can eat unhealthy stuff without gaining weight if you don't eat it every day. Start eating it once a week and you will start to progress towards your goal. Start by doing this on the weekends, summer, during breaks/ holidays, the new year, or just whenever. This will take at least a few months. Try to do a slight calorie deficient. This could take a year or two. Try your best, it will be hard at first. Never give up. Always measure and weigh your self around the same time each day. Try to eat vegetables with lunch or dinner. It is easier for me that way than just eating them alone. Add salt to them. It gives them more flavor. Keep reading below because I have some recipes that hopefully you can try. I have more recipes and I can do another post about it another day. I have been doing Alexis Ren's workout for three days and I already feel thinner. I will be doing her ab workout till the 31st of July and I might continue it to the end of August if I feel like I want to. Hopefully, you try these recipes and like them too. I also tried posting another recipe, but it wouldn’t work. I did post all protein shakes.
