Drop the BEET!
Let me be honest—I've eaten beets ONE time in my food journey—eleven years ago! A friend of mine invited me to Sunday dinner after church. As his mother serves me my plate, the beets accompanied other Southern comfort foods. The rich hue stains the bright yellow color of the baked macaroni and cheese.

Life Fuel
I am just really not a fan of breakfast. I like breakfast foods, waffles are great, love the bacon, cereal is fun too, but I hate getting up and eating first thing in the morning. It's weird. If I was at a camp program, or I was out of town with friends, and we had a specific time and place where breakfast was happening, I would happily eat it. But every day? Really? Not my thing.

I get the flu shot but it does not cover you for every flu virus out there. The scientists study the trends and make an educated guess which flu bugs will be the worst during flu season.

What should we eat in the winter season in India?
India is a country known for its unique cuisine and culture when it comes to food. In India, we have different seasonal foods in various regions of the country. We can still find common foods that are available almost everywhere in the country that contains all the nutrition and comfort that our body needs during the cold season of winter. We must make changes to our food and meal choices per the changing weather conditions. For instance, we know that fruits like mangoes are available exclusively during the summer season. It is best to eat mangoes during the summer and avoid it once their natural annual production ends. Our body might not be comfortable with its consumption throughout the year and might also lead to catching cold or other illnesses.
