I Rank My Top 5 Fast Food Chains. Top Story - September 2017.
Okay, let's get straight to it. I'm from Washington DC; so as far as French fries and major fast food chains go, there are only about 5 to choose from. We are talking about McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, Chick-Fil-A, and Checkers. The fries will be judged based on their taste, texture, amount served (medium fry cup), and my own opinion will play a part in my rankings as well. If you disagree, comment your rankings. Any feedback is also welcome and appreciated to help me grow as a writer.

Pumpkin Spice Lattés Are Nostalgia
Let me start by saying that until my second daughter was born, I had little to no interest in drinking coffee. That was eight years ago, and at some point during those eight years, my good friend Stacey suggested I try a pumpkin spice latté from Starbucks. I was dubious — outside of anything with peanut butter flavoring or chocolate, I tend to be a little bit of a purist and don't generally put anything in my coffee but milk and sugar. The notion of consuming pumpkin spice anything was at first off-putting, but I figured I might as well try it.

Easy Summer Desserts
Summertime is one of the few seasons where desserts always seem like a mandatory part of every party. After all, what would the boardwalk be without ice cream or saltwater taffy? Worse would be a picnic or summer BBQ without popsicles for the kids.

Garlic: Nature's Antibiotic
I recently came down with a summer cold. This generally doesn't happen to me. Being in the vicinity of three sick children in a small cottage for a few days brought me down though. However, as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and granddaughter of a garlic-loving Romanian cook, I knew exactly what to do. I made my grandmother's patented coleslaw recipe. It is full of garlic, cabbage, and lemon, all foods that will knock a cold directly out of you. Try it the next time you find yourself under the weather and you will definitely accelerate your recovery!

Plen-tea to Talk About...
Tea. The national drink of Britain. We cannot get enough of the stuff. Whether it’s a warm or cold day, we will still faithfully put the kettle on like the automatons that we are. Forget the pop culture of today surrounding tea, let’s explore the deeper, and arguably murkier, depths that revolve the academic study of it.
