Understanding Artisan
Artisan Baking When you think of a microbrewery you think of the knowledge that the brewmaster has about the unique beers that he or she brews — the care that goes into choosing the types of grains, hops, sugars, and yeasts that are used for each beer. A pilsner, ale, stout, or lager each have different ingredients and each has a unique process that the brewmaster has developed over years of personal experience. The long fermentation that allows the yeast to pull the flavors out of the grain. The combination of grains and the different types of hops. This knowledge makes each brewmaster a specialist of the craft.

A Bite into a Delicious Hamburger
You're hungry. You're stomach is empty. You're salivating. The only thing you have your mind set on at the moment is how great it is to sink your teeth into your favorite burger. There is a burger out there, that you get ever so often because of how tasty it is. It is your own signature burger. Of coarse, you know it's wrong. You know it's unhealthy. But you do it anyway because its time for you to be naughty. Your mind is telling you "No!" but your taste buds are telling you, "YES! YES!! YES!!!"

Truth: Your Chicken Isn't Juicy
Have you actually tried your chicken? Have you ever actually had chicken that felt like rubber (excessive chewing, could even use a sauce...)? Don't lie to yourself. That chicken was DRY AF at your aunt's last week...but you ate it out of desperation/gratefulness/being high and not knowing any better/lack of trying OPC (other people's chicken). The alternative is to toss it, and be honest with yourself/others (and others who may suffer from eating your/their chicken but do not wish to tell you the truth in lieu of your/their "feelings"). Then, after testing a few methods from the top google searches...you may end up having the best chicken of your god damn life.

Vittles in Venice
Venice was a great place to go, but I highly recommend spending two nights MAX there. Ideally one night and about half a day is plenty to see the entirety of Venice. It's an amazing city to see, but you could cover all of the neighborhoods (excluding the islands) in about a day. The museums are not the best and you will find yourself retracing your steps (it's literally a labyrinth).

15 Easy Tips for Baking Success
I have spent almost the last ten years of my life surrounded by the pastry world and in that time, I’ve learned some tips and tricks that I wish I could have known from the beginning. Fried Egg Grilled Cheese and Pizza Soup
I'm Stef. I am not a certified chef. What you see is made at home. Yesterday, I decided to go with something a little different. I wasn't sure how it would turn out or if the egg would even stay in one place while flipping it.

Sugar Season
In Northern New Hampshire, seasons don’t last months, they last a few weeks at most. There’s deer season, turkey season, calving season, lamb season, the second month of January (February), and more important than all the rest (at least to me) is maple sugar season. Sugaring can last anywhere from a few days to 4 weeks, and run anywhere from late February to mid-April. For syrup sellers, a few days covers about a tank of gas, whereas a month-long season covers your property taxes and that trip somewhere warm and sandy that they’ve been eyeing for a few years. People call out of work, families gather, tall tales are told, and new ones are woven in the warmth, steam, and scent of the sugar house.

I Love You America… Especially Your Junk Food!
Thank god for American junk food! I've landed 29 days ago on the American continent and, goshh, do I go crazy for all this ridiculous awesome food! I know, I know, today in our society junk food is almost as taboo as saying Voldermort in Harry Potter. I'm even part of that community, you know, the super annoying community that wants to take care of its body, eat better and healthier so as to stay fit and die much older. That community that pushes you to exercise at least once a week - "I promise, try walking for 30 minutes each day, you'll love it and won't be able to stop" - yes, that community! Or at least, I used to be part of it back in Europe and then I got to the U.S.

A Long Piece About Mushrooms
This article is partially about foraging for and consuming wild mushrooms. Under no circumstances should this article convince you to consume any wild mushrooms without first seeking out the advice of an expert and using their help to positively identify any edible mushrooms you may pick. Mushrooms can and will kill you and if you have any doubt as to the species of mushroom you have collected, err on the side of caution and DO NOT CONSUME THEM. That being said, please enjoy this piece and happy hunting!
