My Father’s Ghost on a Dusty Windowsill
Ghosts are real. Feel the love language of Dad
It is very difficult to express the relationship with the father in words. Father's love is unique, and this love is mostly inexpressible to his family. Father's love contains many tastes of love like little sour and hard, but still, this love shows some other kind of sweetness. It compels me to acknowledge how I've spent most of my life sorting myself with erroneous masculinity notions. We are trained to believe that vulnerability equals weakness as children. It all starts with childhood. When we fall he is the one who, instead of showing very sweet gestures, told us to get up and walk and scrape our knees. So, he shows strong gestures and tries to build us strong with another level of affection. This affection speaks of love language. Usually, the sobbing and expressing emotions are exclusively female behaviours like our mothers have more sentiments than fathers. But the father's way of expressing his emotions has another kind of love. The inexpressible love showers on the family in a very calm way and gives a special kind of calmness to his family.
