What would happen if the world stopped spinning for 5 seconds?
Hang on! because we're about to screech to a halt , that's right the earth is going to stop spinning for five seconds. How much damage would this sudden stop cause, what would you experience in different parts of the world, and when the earth starts spinning again would it still be habitable? Here's what would happen if the earth stopped spinning for five seconds. The earth makes one full rotation on its axis in one day, this gives us day and night. The earth is spinning because of collisions that happened when the planet was forming 4.6 billion years ago as a huge disk of gas and dust swirled around the sun , dust and rock grains clumped together generating forces that kept the planet rotating in one direction. You could imagine it much like a figure skater spinning faster and faster and with almost no forces in space to slow the planet down, we keep rotating and we'll continue to for billions of years. But if the earth stopped on a dime would you fly right off the surface if the planet came to an abrupt halt the atmosphere would still be in motion, that means though everything has lurched to a stop powerful winds would continue to blow and these wouldn't be a strong breeze they would be many times stronger than any storm you've ever encountered. Now the strength of these winds would differ based on where you were on the planet at or near the equator the earth is rotating the fastest. Here you'd experience wind speeds of sixteen hundred and seventy kilometers per hour those winds would knock you off your feet. But forget about you these winds would be strong enough to tear up the earth's crust, so it wouldn't matter if you were out in an open field or inside a steel reinforced building these winds would obliterate you for context the strongest f5 tornadoes have velocities up to 511 kilometers per hour, and these storms can move houses off their foundations send cars flying, and even tear apart concrete structures. The winds from the earth's emergency brake would be three times stronger than that, so if the crust under your feet didn't crumble you and a lot of other stuff would likely go flying a great distance but not off the face of the earth. The escape velocity or the speed you need to escape the earth's gravitational forces and enter space is about 40 000 kilometers per hour. In other parts of the world like new Zealand or France you'd experience slightly weaker winds, but at 1180 kilometers per hour these would still be much stronger than any storm ever. These winds would pretty much destroy everything, but they wouldn't be the only hazard you'd need to keep an eye out for in these short five seconds our planet is not a perfect sphere it bulges near the equator due to the centrifugal forces generated by the planet's rotation, if the rotation stopped the earth would transform quickly into a perfect sphere all the water gathering near the equator would flow away toward the poles generating a massive tsunami five seconds later. When the planet returned to its full speed rotation that water would backtrack a wall of water would slam into everything and everyone twice, that's one heck of a storm maybe the only place you'd be safe in this scenario is near the north or south poles. Here the wind would be the mildest. Now you must be relieved to hear that the earth has returned to its normal rotation after all this but, like I said there would be nothing left on it every building all farmland and all technology would be demolished beyond recognition. Billions of people if not every single person on earth would die from the brute force of being slammed by the massive gusts of wind. So if you're looking to survive this apocalyptic scenario you'd better start building an underground bunker. Luckily it's expected the earth won't come to a halt any time in the next few billion years , and before that the sun would burn out and turn into a red giant!

Indian Island No One Is Allowed: What Does It Hide?
indeed, even in 2023 you can in any case find spots where current people have never been envision residing on one of such confined Islands you wouldn't be aware of present day progress or have seen an individual from the rest of the world one such Island is situated in the Straight of Bengal in India it's called North Sentinel Island and arriving is completely prohibited by regulation since the mid-twentieth century regardless of whether you attempt to arrive at there the Indian coast watch will not permit it yet that is by all accounts not the only obstacle you'll confront say you have chosen to arrive at this island in a little boat the water is completely clear and you can see a wide range of fish swimming around as well as a few perfect coral reefs and afterward you see the island somewhere far off it seems to be a little glimpse of heaven however before you might in fact contemplate drawing any nearer you notice a few specks on the shore unexpectedly something virtuosos past you and terrains in the water stand by a moment is that a bolt that's right and the following one raises a ruckus around town of your boat appears as though somebody on the island truly doesn't need guests turns out the dabs on the shore are individuals the neighbourhood sentinelese clan furnished with Lances and Quits yelling something at you in a language you can't see yet their signals suggest that you ought to leave right away on the off chance that that wasn't clear an adequate number of they toss Lances and shoot bolts at you no doubt that is most certainly a hint you're not wanted here it's not you they're forceful towards however they're known for monitoring their Island furiously and don't need any other person to come in even helicopters can be gone after when they fly excessively close that is the reason the specialists have made it against the law to visit the island all it travellers protected as well as to safeguard the actual Islanders the sentinelese individuals have resided in seclusion for millennia and they have no resistance to Present day illnesses even a basic virus could clear them out strangely North Sentinel Island was visited by an official named Morris Vidal Portman in 1880. He observed that the island was encircled by coral reefs and limestone and had ripe soil ideal for developing coconut palms. He detected a few towns on the island yet didn't move towards local people or investigate the island further. Perhaps he detected that it was ideal to abandon this paradise. In the past, scientists have endeavoured to lay out well-disposed associations with them by offering them fish as gifts, which local people acknowledged yet wouldn't permit any guests to move towards their home in spite of their convoluted language. present day individuals had the option to speak with the Islanders more than a very long while and in 1991 one of local people moved towards the boat that was conveying the gifts for the clan and acknowledged them around the same time a gathering of local people even loaded up the boat and took a pack of coconuts brought to them by a group of anthropologists this was one of the last certain collaborations with the clan as India's administration has disallowed any cooperation with the sentinelese for their security there is another wonderful Island found 25 miles off the bank of Brazil which has a beacon that fills in as proof of current people presence anyway there are no individuals on the island and the Coast Watchman sporadically look at the beacon to guarantee that no outsiders have visited the spot individuals are not permitted to visit this island to their benefit since it tends to be hazardous so what's up with snake island The name will give you a clue. It has like 4 000 snakes out of control, one per 10 square feet. They crawl on the ground and dangle from the trees, and these are any snakes as well as probably the most venomous on the planet. They're called Brilliant Spearheads, and they just live on this island. The snakes are savage to such an extent that they practise hunting birds that come here to rest during their long flights. The island used to be associated with Brazil, yet it got isolated by the ocean quite a while back, and from that point forward, these snakes have worn the pants; they're the rulers of the island, and they have no hunters to fear except for the fact that they have relatively few food choices either, so they advance to have very venomous nibbles to bring down their prey effectively. At any rate, an adequate number of snakes Let me enlighten you regarding one more frightening Island in Mexico it is situated in one of the trenches in the space summoned zochimilco only 11 miles from Mexico City it's not prohibited to visit or everything except it's really startling in any case so have you known about the island of the Dolls it's an unpleasant Spot loaded up with dolls swinging from trees and structures a person during the 50s moved here alone from Mexico City and fired hanging them up and kept on doing as such for a really long time making the spot seem to be a spooky doll cemetery yet stand by it gets significantly creepier the dolls take care of crumbled over the long run in Greenery and became green some say they become fully awake around evening time on the off chance that that doesn't give you the heebie-jeebies I don't have any idea what will currently allow me to tell you about Bouvet Island, perhaps one of the most secretive places on Earth. It's situated in the South Atlantic Sea, sixteen hundred miles from South Africa and 1100 miles from Antarctica. It's really challenging to reach, and typically you can do so from huge ships passing by. The island is predominantly covered by an icy mass, and at its middle there is a volcanic pit. The main occupants of this spot are penguins and seals. an ideal area for somebody needs to be separated from everyone else away from progress it was found in 1739 by a French pilgrim yet they didn't record the area so for very nearly 70 years no one knew where it was in the mid nineteenth century it was rediscovered yet it was only after 1927 that somebody truly set foot on its Shores quick forward to the mid-twentieth 100 years and certain individuals choose to construct a weather conditions station there when they showed up they found something very odd a vacant Raft simply chilling in a tidal pond with a lot of seals it was looking great and there were paddles a lightness tank close by there weren't any markings or indications of who it had a place with yet it seemed like whoever had been on it had gotten away from a destroyed boat bizarre thing however there were no Impressions or indications of individuals on the island so where did the mariners go no one knows we should wrap up with a totally protected and charming island in the Bahamas called Pig Ocean side it's not the authority name of the spot but rather everybody calls it this way in light of the fact that the island is home to bunches of pigs they go through their days swimming sunbathing on the ocean front investigating the wilderness and asking sightseers for food what's truly cool is that you can remain at an inn on a close by Island and take a boat to visit the pigs they're really cordial and love consideration particularly when there's food included and on account of the graciousness of vacationers and local people these charming minimal pink and earthy coloured piglets can get by on the island nobody knows without a doubt the way that the pigs wound up on the island as per Legend they endure a wreck and swam to somewhere safe and secure on Pig Ocean side there are likewise a couple of felines and goats on the island which adds to the Animal Ranch Energies it's giving out so in the event that you're searching for a special and delightful experience Pig Ocean side is certainly worth a visit make sure to bring a few snacks for the piggies.
