The sinhalese kingdom of Anuradhapura entered into a large scale military uprising due to King Mahinda Vth's disastrous economic organization around 982 AD.The Anuradhapura capital's army was mostly made up of tamil mercenaries brought from corammandel coast.In 882 CE the military uprising of aforementioned merceneries and subsequent civil war peaked forcing weak sinhala king to flee the capital to Rohana principality putting the capital Anuradhapura into a 11 year civil war and complete anarchy.The destruction of the central administration further failed the payments for tamil mercenaries which prompted them to side with chola empire leaving Anuradhapura guardless against the 993 Chola invasion.[25][26]

Rajaraja I (Middle Tamil: Rājarāja Cōḻaṉ; Classical Sanskrit: Rājarāja Ćōl̥a; 947 CE – 1014 CE),[1][2] often described as Rajaraja the Great, was a Chola emperor who reigned the southern parts of India from 985 CE to 1014 CE. An iconic figure and often regarded as the 'King of Kings', he was the most powerful emperor in India during his reign and is remembered for reinstating the Chola influence and ensuring its supremacy across the Indian Ocean.[3][4] The southern part of India was united for the very first time in the Indian history under his rule.

Pichaikkaran 2
In a film industry that has almost never gotten a sequel right, standalone sequels feel like an excuse to cash in on the popularity of a hit film and Pichaikkaran 2 is a textbook example of it. The 2016 film Pichaikkaranwasn’t a revelation but amidst an overdose of action and mother sentiment, director Sasi squeezed in an interesting plot that worked majorly for its mass moments. Pichaikkaran 2 tries to maintain the idea as a scaffolding to build a new story from scratch, and though it gets an intriguing idea, it fails to make headway.

At a psychiatric ward, therapist Dr. Rose Cotter meets with Laura Weaver, a graduate student. Weaver explains that she witnessed her art history professor commit suicide a few days earlier. Weaver then claims that an entity that only she can see, taking the form of smiling people, has been terrorizing her, and has told her that she is going to die, and nobody believed her when she told them. Soon after, Weaver stumbles to the floor and begins screaming. After Rose calls for help, she sees Laura standing up, calm and smiling. With a shard of broken pottery, Weaver kills herself by slitting her throat. Later, Rose sees a manic patient, Carl, smiling and shouting that she is going to die. Rose calls for nurses to restrain him, only to see he has been asleep the whole time. Concerned for Rose's mental well-being, her supervisor Dr. Morgan Desai gives her a week off.

“My brother always believed I had a guardian angel. I used to believe in nothing. Now I’m not so sure,” a voiceover tells us just as a nun pulls a gun and aims it directly at the camera. Thus begins Christopher Smith’s latest horror film, “Consecration.” If only the rest of the film were as invigorating as this opening sequence. Instead, the film proves to be just another retread of “spooky” Catholic-themed horror tropes without adding any insight or originality to the subgenre.

History At one point near the end of the twentieth century, the Progenitor Virus (also known as the Mother Virus) was discovered by Lord Ozwell E. Spencer, Sir Edward Ashford, and James Marcus. These three gentlemen had a certain economic position and decided to begin research upon the virus. Most of the research was carried out by Marcus, as Ashford died in 1968 and Spencer was already occupied by his burgeoning chemical corporation, Umbrella. Marcus had little resources to pool into the investigation, until Spencer agreed to employ him as a researcher and later Director of his Corporation's Training Facility, putting the vast resources of Umbrella into his hands. Marcus overbid his hand, greedy for the power to finally invest serious amounts into his research, demanded numerous resources to perfect and improve what he envisioned was his life's work. This led to friction between Marcus and Spencer, who, to compensate from the crippling economic demands laid by Marcus, demanded that he create a virus with a 100% effectiveness rate, much to the confusion of Marcus and his assistants, new Umbrella Trainees Albert Wesker and William Birkin.
