investigation

What Happened to Tracy Kroh?
About 25 miles outside of the state capitol of Pennsylvania is a small, riverside town called Millersburg. It's one of those rare American gems deeply rooted in family, tradition, and kindness. Life is slow and sweet there; folks take care of each other.

The unsolved murder of teenager Beverly Jarosz
Modern technological advances in genetic testing have contributed to the apprehension of many killers from the 60s and 70s. I always enjoy reading about it when law enforcement identifies these monsters, convicts them and then sends them to prison. One case I am still confident of being solved is the murder of a Cleveland, Ohio teenager named Beverly Jarosz.

The Tree Feller
It was the afternoon, hot like summer had come already. Janis thought on the news as she walked. She passed a pile of sawdust strewn across the path and roadway with a stump where a tree had been. Who was this terrible tree-feller, this stalker of proud oak and wizened birch, this night terror who walks among us.

KK's Corner
Lake Charles, Louisiana is generally a quiet town. I've lived here since 2009. People come here to gamble at our casinos and sometimes to gawk at the damage. We have had our fair share of bad luck recently with two major hurricanes, a deadly freeze, and a citywide flood within a year. If you say you lost your home in the flood you'll likely be asked, "Which one?" But no bad luck compares to The Murders. You see, we have murders here every now and then just like any other town. In Lake Charles though, if you mention The Murders you don't need to go into any further detail, because everyone knows you're talking about the bone-chilling case of KK’s Corner.

A Fall of Innocence
Ask any teenager what their most memorable moment is from middle or high school, and you will get an array of answers. It may be when they made the varsity sports team, got to go with their crush to prom, or any of the embarrassing moments that come from hitting puberty.

I Can't Believe It's Yogurt!
Good ol’ Austin, Texas. Back in the early 90s, it was quite the place to be. The population was growing, but had a nice small and personal touch to it. People viewed the town as a place where you can raise a family, chase your dreams, and just enjoy life. No one in Austin ever thought they would be faced with one of the most shocking and gruesome murders that could happen in the 90s. What people still ask to this day is “What kind of monster could do this?”
