Gambling is an awful addiction. I'm ashamed to say, that I've fallen into this trap myself. It's easy to get ahead of yourself when the winnings get good, when you play your cards right and triple your bet it's like a payday. If you're not too careful, you might get addicted to gambling away money. One day I realised I'm better off just saving my pennies, then risk losing them to make dollars because 70% of the time you just fail. It's the 30% chance of winning that hooks you. Thankfully I learnt my lesson, but not everyone can.

There's a very good reason I don't go clubbing anymore, it can get messy. Not to mention the bloody awful hangovers, a good night out can be a good time, sure, but is it really worth puking your guts up the next day inside the dirty, shit stained toilet bowl? I don't think so! I mean don't get me wrong, there's nothing better than a good pint after a long hard day's work to relax the tension in your muscles. However binge drinking and disco nights just aren't for me, because getting a hangover is the least of your worries. Unfortunately there are often thugs and drug dealers knocking around, causing fights and they are generally up to no good. Getting in a brawl is the opposite of what you want on a night out, you go out looking for a fun time with friends, not a dance with death itself! As bad as a beating can be, there is something even more dangerous out there waiting to strike. A tainted drink, they call it spiking, when somebody tampers with a drunk's beer making them sick, high or even fall unconscious. In some rare cases; a drink can be poisoned so badly it is deadly! This is a story of one of those rare, yet bizarre cases.

Con-artists are the scum of the earth, it's bad enough getting ripped off buying a faulty product, or buying into a horrid investment scam, one designed to rinse your bank account dry. Yet, there is one particular scam that I find to be the most detestable! Even worse than the ones that prey on the naive elderly, these being the infamous love scams. If you don't know what a love scam is yet, then allow me to ruin your day! It is when somebody pretends to be in love with someone else, eventually fooling their victim into giving them an extortionate amount of money. What a despicable thing! But it's true folks and the worst thing of all, is that the con artist in this scenario doesn't even stick around, they eventually ghost the person they are conning. Of course the very infamous and horrible Con Man Dan got in on this terrible trend didn't he? Oh yes, there's nothing this bastard wouldn't do for a little bit of money.
