Who motivates you?
One of the most motivational people for me has been a man named Shaun T. For those that do not know who he is, he is a fitness trainer with a company called Beachbody. I believe he has over 12 programs and counting that he has. My first experience with him was a program called Insanity, which is very bit as insane as it sounds. Beachbody now has a streaming service where they stream all their programs basically. But when I first did it, this was when you would purchase the DVD's through things like infomercials. I wasn't in good shape and told myself that I would do this and get into great shape. Of course that is not how it really works as I now know. So when I first tried it, I thought what the heck is wrong with him, what crazy person does it and thinks this is a good idea. Of course, I did not finish it all. It is not a program for someone who isn't fully and totally dedicated to changing their lives. Of course now he does have shorter ones and different programs for different skill levels. But if you want to know what he is about, for me Insanity shows what he is all about. Yes he is hard, but he will push you past any point that you think that you have.

5 Movies to watch if you need some motivation
Let's face it 2020 was a tough year. And I think it made all of us look at things a little differently. If you are like me, it made you rethink your life and what was really important to you. It made me look at my values and what I stand for and want to do better. Wanting to do more and better with my life. Movies are a great way to get you thinking and maybe give some motivation on how you can change your life. It's not about doing the exact same thing as the person in the movie, but take the overall message of the movie to be able to apply it to your life.

Does your sign matter?
Most people have some experience with horoscopes, stars and all that means for you. I have known people who think that it is ridiculous and people who follow it exactly. Well I have not followed it exactly I do generally believe in it. I believe that horoscopes, astrology, star signs and all of that does mean something and can be helpful in your life. Though what does your horoscope sign really mean? Most people have a general idea what their sign means, however do you really know? Before doing this article I had a general idea of what I thought that it meant to be a Scorpio. It wasn't until I really thought about it that I asked myself do I really know what it means to be a Scorpio. Looking into it, I found it very interesting to see what was really true to me and made me rethink things that I thought was really true.

Revenge
She woke up in the morning, and he had already gone to work, like every other time she had stayed there. He had always told her that he wanted to feel welcome in his home. As she started to get ready she couldn't help but to look around. She wondered for a moment why the place had so little things in it. Though he had told her that he was a minimalist, such an attractive quality she always thought. She wished that she could be more like that, be able to live with less stuff. Maybe he will rub off on me, she thought to herself. As she went to grab something to eat before leaving, she saw a black book on his desk. Something that she had never before. She went to it and thought about looking at it. He must have forgotten it, she thought. But knowing that it was wrong she walked away, she had no reason not to trust him, she thought. She grabbed something to eat and went about the rest of her day.

Supplement review
Like so many people out there when you start really getting into working and fitness, you see a lot of people taking different supplements. If you were like me, once you start going down the rabbit hole it's hard to know what is really necessary. There are supplements for everything nowadays. Once I started getting some I found it was hard to know what I should really do, what I really needed. I started getting so many, too many most likely, and found that I was quickly overwhelmed trying to drink all the different supplements that I had. So here are some that I have tried that I found either helpful or not worth it.

Choices
He woke up in the morning and watched her sleeping peacefully. He just looked at her and in the way that the light would hit her face. She looked peaceful, like an angel. It was in that moment that he knew that he loved her, that he knew that she was the one. They had known each other only for about a month, and this was the first night that they had spent together. But it was all in the way that she looked at him that he knew. It didn't matter what or how much he had, she loved him truly and purely for who he was. She woke up and found him staring at her and couldn't help but to smile.

Why you need a guilty pleasure
The definition of a guilty pleasure is something that one enjoys despite the feeling that it is not generally held in high regard. But it can really mean anything to anyone. What one person thinks is the smartest show to watch can seem ridiculous to someone else. Though, isn't that what is great about the world. Everyone has the right to like or make whatever they want and whatever brings you joy. Whatever it is that you enjoy there is a community out there in the world for that, or mostly anything, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone.

The joy of a guilty pleasure
Like so many people I have had my secret guilty pleasures, shows that I loved to watch all by myself. Shows that didn't teach me anything or bring any real substance to my life. Just things that I could put on and get lost in a world of drama and craziness. Like so many out there for so long it was reality TV. And all the ones that make no sense. You know the ones where you watch them and think what is wrong with you people, where did you come from and why am I even watching this. I loved to watch Jersey Shore and Duck Dynasty. I would watch them and somehow feel better about my own choices and my life, even though it still was not the best. Of course the real housewives would always suck me in. I would watch every season and every version religiously. For some reason I felt like I was invested in these stories and in their crazy and outrageous lives. In times when I felt lonely or bored with my own life, I knew that I still had these crazy shows that I could get my drama fill in. Even when my life seemed boring and routine. What I have learned over time is that when you are bored with your life, caught up in your day to day, sometimes you need some excitement. Unable to get some then it is nice to be able to get it from these crazy shows.

No resolutions in 2021!
Like everyone, every year I make resolutions like the rest of the world. And just like most of the world my resolutions mean nothing and I rarely ever actually accomplish them. You make them telling yourself that this year you will do them, this year you will accomplish things. You may even start to make changes in your life towards them. But sooner or later you just go back to doing the same thing that you did before. Why is that? For most people you forget your resolutions shortly after you make them. Habits, especially daily habits are harder to break than just making a resolution once a year. This year, make a commitment to not make a resolution. I know a crazy thought. But really think about how many resolutions that you have actually made and stuck with through your life. Most likely not many.

Step-by-step guide to scheduling
Well for some of us we need and thrive on a schedule, for many others it's just a hard thing to do. Maybe you make a schedule, but you feel like you are not being the most effective throughout the day. Most people can make a schedule or a plan, but it might not be the most effective way to go through your day. Making an effective schedule is something else all together. I find that I need a schedule, a to-do list, something that gives me task that I need to accomplish and something to bring scrutcure to my day. When I was laid off the first time during the pandemic, I didn't really make a schedule. And I found that the days just blended together. I also felt like I came out of the 2 months wondering what I did with all that time and feeling like I had wasted an opportunity. So going into it for the second time I made sure that I was going to do things differently to make use of my time.

Dear Donald
Dear Donald I understand that I am just a Canadian single mother and that you might not care about my opinion. Though I'm sure you don't care about anyone else's opinion but your own. Given that you were the leader of what is to be one of the greatest countries of the world, your actions affect not just yourself, your family or your country but the world.

My cozy corner
What is my cozy corner? When I first asked myself this question I did not really know my answer. But after a day I realized that my couch and table is the place that I spend the most time. It has been my bed, my desk and my table along with many other things.
