The Honesty of Eileen Cooper
Homage to the Movements & Colors in her Art

Title of Poem: Vulnerable Intimacy
There you are my cute and cuddly, ever so accepting...
I feel so comfortable baring my very soul to you.
You never judge me just as I do not judge you...our very nature
is what we both expose. My insecurities and your proclivities to murder.
We credit one another for honesty.
We are safe, but not so much that sweet birdie.
But you ensnared it with integrity and gave it chase.
Just as you captured me with all your magic and power.
You are my opposite and you give those traits to me...in return,
I nurture you.
We both are safe from a world that misjudges us.
Oh, how I love you!

Dreamy and thoughtful tribute to Eileen.
That’s a great take on the painting and challenge, Shirley!
A lovely take on the challenge!
Wonderful work, Shirley!! Loved, “But you ensnared it with integrity and gave it chase.”
This is beautiful, Shirley. Well done.
This strikes right at the heart, Shirley. Wonderful writing and so good to read such depth of feeling in the relationship between the three persons in the picture. An original and well-thought take on the challenge. Really well done.
Oh this was absolutely wonderful! Loved it so much!
Wonderful. I like the look of Eileen too. I don't know if I have anything for this challenge. Like yours very much.
