Starlight
When I picked up that ring on the beach that day I had no idea just how much my life would change. It sat on my dressing table for a week and after no one responded to the lost and found ad I forgot about it. I was heading out to the vigil for the shopping mall victims, and I saw the ring sitting there. What the heck, I guess it’s mine now? I slipped it on my finger. It was way too big, but before I could remove it … the ring resized all on its own, fitting perfectly to my finger.
