The Coin
There I was one fine day, rummaging through my drawer - not really in search of anything important, just desperately trying to find something to do. Guess what I found? A coin. Yes, you heard it right. A plain, old coin, the kind we used to flip to decide who gets the last piece of pizza. I figured, why not? I flipped it out of curiosity or boredom or simply to waste some time. Heads or tails? I was really not in a mood to decide that. The coin was only a coin after all.

The 5 Minute Dream
Have you ever slept for a few minutes, then when you wake up, you feel you lived a whole life? No? Good for you, I guess. Because this happens to me every day. It falls between my grand law study times (because, in reality, I do study) and when my job starts at 9:45 a.m., where I pretend to be an adult for 8 hours. But lunchtime? That's when things get fun.

How far can bucks go to buy respect, love, and people?
Alright, let’s delve into a golden nugget of wisdom I recently unearthed on social media. You know the one: “bucks can buy respect, love, and people.” Initially, I found myself thinking, “Ah, so that’s the key to life, simply toss around some cash and watch as everything seamlessly falls into place!” Yet, I soon recalled that I wasn’t existing within a film where a soundtrack swells as the protagonist strides in, flaunting the latest designer bag.

2024-The Year That Did Not Give Me What I Wanted But Gave Me Exactly What I Needed
Well, here we are, 2024 winding up. Honestly, I don't even know how it happened. One minute, I was counting the days, waiting for what felt like a kid waiting for summer vacation; the next, staring at the calendar, wondering, Wait, it's December? It just whizzed past. Before I know it, it will be too late. But going back in hindsight, I almost feel like 2024 has given me that perfect lesson. It's just not Instagrammable like success would be, but so much more valuable.

The Mandela Effect: Are We Living in a Glitch in The Matrix?
Alright, so you must have had one of those moments where you are certain that you recall something, but everyone just looks at you like you just came from outer space. You know what happened, but apparently nobody else does. You remember a fellow who wore a red shirt and now is wearing blue and suddenly, you've lost it. Yeah, that's exactly what happened to me.

Public Spaces: An Art Exhibition. Content Warning.
Have you ever stopped to wonder why public facilities in our country are always filling up with paan stains, offensive graffiti, and crude drawings? What used to be clean, simple spaces like school washrooms and train walls have now become a canvas for people who show no regard for shared space. Public property is now treated as an art project only; it's not the kind of art one would like to hang in a gallery. It works instead as a disturbing piece that points out how others have come to view those public spaces as their private playgrounds, where considerations of respect and responsibility take a back seat.

No Corruption? Sure, As Long As It Doesn't Cause Me Trouble
Ah, a corruption-free country. Such a fantasy all of us love, yes? We tweet, we post, and we often talk about how corruption will bring about all the problems. So we want to change, and be fair, and have a place with justice, not forgetting the one where rules are followed, where it works well. The thing is that most of us merely pretend: we love such an idea of a country free from corruption only if it doesn't tread on our own convenience.

New Roads: Smooth like Butter, Until You Hit the Bumps.
Do you remember that feeling when you first hear about a new road being built? Men, We Need to Talk!. Content Warning.
Let me tell you about Mr. Fool. He's just an average guy, doing his thing, working his ass off, and believing in all the hopes and dreams everybody has. Then he marries, has some children, and thinks life is all a bowl of roses and opportunity galore. But he did not know that when he gave his seal of approval and signed that marriage certificate, the Indian law system was ready to hit him with a great surprise, a surprise more shocking than getting hit by an express truck.

Together We Stand. Content Warning.
I scrolled through my feed, sipping my favorite cold milk. That was an interesting day, wasn't it? This day, full of odd irony for activism these days. Do you remember that crisis in Palestine and in Rafah? The Internet was abuzz. Celebrities, influencers, and people who had an Instagram account suddenly know so much about global politics. It had all those hashtags and emotional captions with black-and-white pictures. People cared.

Mumbai Locals
There's something special about train rides. Maybe it's the steady sound of the wheels, the way the train moves as if it is dancing, or how so many strangers are packed together acting like they're not secretly judging each other. For my cousin "Sai", however, trains are much more than just a mode of travel; they are a love story-a noisy, sweaty, messy love story, but still a love story.

Can Bucks Really Buy Happiness?
Let me clarify something before we dive in: by “bucks,” I mean money—the green stuff that powers dreams and makes life a little less complicated. But since blogs and algorithms frown on certain words, let’s stick to calling it “bucks.” Don’t worry, the sarcasm remains untouched.
