China Says Russia Should End War.
This month is the anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. So far, the war drags on and there seems no end to it. Russia failed to take Kyiv and instead has settled for taking parts of eastern Ukraine instead. Meanwhile, Ukraine has been trying to liberate its land from Russian occupation in the east.

Iraqi-born Chairman of the Conservative party Nadhim Zahawi is facing calls to resign. Mr. Zahawi is currently under investigation by HMRC, the Serious Fraud Squad, Customs and Revenue, etc. However, it seems Mr. Zahawi has settled with HMRC by paying 4.8 million Pounds.

King Charles Grants Off-Shore Wind Farm Money For The Public Good.
From a boy up until the time Charles became the 3rd Monarch bearing that name Charles has been trained to be King. His Mother Elizabeth II from 1952 - 2022 was the Queen of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth. Of course, the role of the monarch in Britain today is a constitutional role only (though one wonders does the monarch have more say in affairs of state than we think). Long gone are the days when the Monarch was one who could command the country at will.
