This is either beause they believe in what they say totally or they are wanting to attract the far-right vote. With the local elections coming up next month and with a general election looming in 2024 the Tories are going to need all the votes they can muster.

The National Health Service as envisaged and enacted by the Labour government of 1945 was a revolution. Free health care for all was the mantra of the new Labour government. The 1945 general election brought Labour to power after WWII because the people wanted something different.

Labour launched an attack ad saying the Prime Minister does not imprison child sex attackers. Many describe this ad as "gutter politics". Some described the ad as desperate. However, Sir Keir defended these ads saying they were justified.

A report 5 years ago highlighted the dangers of the assessment process when trying to obtain benefits. People with illness physical or mental must face an assessment to get Universal Credit. Should they pass this process they are then able to access benefits.

North Korea Launches New Type of Missile.
North Korea is well known for its nuclear programme and test-firing missiles. The firing of these missiles usually ends with these missiles landing in the sea. And usually, everyone is on alert in the area but dismisses it as Kim Jong Un up to his old tricks again. From North Korea's point of view, it is about the survival of the regime. The Communist dictatorship has seen how easily Iraq and Libya fell to the Western powers. So North Korea's missile launches and nuclear programme is about putting off attacks by the West.

UK - US Relationship is Fine Apparently?
As Biden flew into Northern Ireland he had arranged to meet Rishi Sunak at a hotel in Belfast. The pair met over coffee and sat around a table. Earlier Sunak met the President as Airforce 1 touched down in Northern Ireland. Many noticed (including myself) how Sunak seemed almost irrelevant and struggled to get the attention of the President. As I wrote yesterday Sunak often seems like a lightweight when meeting people like Macron and Biden.

Sunak Meets Biden.
Why does Rishi Sunak (at least to me) always look like he is being dominated or manipulated by other world leaders? When he met Macron recently to hand over a load of cash (to stop migrants coming to Britain) Sunak looked like the weaker of the pair. Beyond all the back-patting, smiles, etc, it looked like Macron was the senior figure.

King Charles and His Coronation: So What?
Very shortly we will be witnessing the crowning of King Charles III presumably at Westminister Cathedral. Prince Charles became King Charles the moment his mother died. The crowning or coronation is simply a public spectacle to confirm this. The last coronation ceremony was in 1952 when Queen Elizabeth was crowned.

Humza Useless: Not Racist Its Fact.
Dan Wooton of GB News was speaking about the apparent downfall of the SNP. Recently, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon suddenly resigned. The reason for this resignation was not clear. Although many thought it was because Ms. Sturgeon has been unable to get her dearest wish politically that of Scottish independence. Her bid was narrowly defeated in 2014. Ever since the UK left the EU she has been using this as a weapon to campaign for another vote to free Scotland (as she sees it) from the rest of the UK. However, Westminster blocked any Scottish move for another referendum on independence.

President Biden Will Not Be Attending Charles's Coronation.
Mark Dolan of right-wing UK media outlet GB News waxed lyrical about why Mr. Biden will not be attending Prince Charles' coronation. Mark Dolan said Biden's refusal to attend the coronation was a snub to the UK.
