Priti Patel Will Accuse Wishy-Washy of Managing The Decline of The Conservative Party.
Patel's Speech at New Tory Group.

Former Home Secretary Priti Patel will go for Sunak like an attack dog today. In a fiery speech, she will accuse the Prime Minister of managing a decline of the Conservative party.
Ms. Patel was for some, a controversial Home Secretary. She was very much on the right of the Tory party. Vociferously anti-migrant she proposed sending them to Rwanda as a deterrent to stop them from crossing the English Channel. Obviously, this didn't happen and before that, she planned to ship migrants to St Helena or Ascension Island in the Atlantic. Her successor Suella Braverman isn't much different in her policies towards migrants. It seems Rwanda as a destination for migrants is a thing again. Whether it will happen this time remains to be seen. Her boss Sunak wants to stop those migrant boats. It is one of the 5 pledges he wants to deliver for the British people apparently. Whether he will have the time to actually deliver on his 5 pledges before next year's general election remains to be seen. Certainly, Sunak's lot is not a happy one. Losing a thousand councillors in the recent local elections, being accused of being out of touch with ordinary folks, and Labour doing well in the polls, looks like the game might be up for Wishy-Washy.
Priti will accuse Sunak's rise to power as being "undemocratic". Sunak has never faced the vote of the people (until the recent local elections). Sunak was plonked on both the Conservative party and the British public whether we wanted him or not. She will describe Sunak's rise to the top job as a "coronation". In other words, supporters of Sunak made sure he became Prime Minister under dubious circumstances. Sunak was the heir apparent to Boris despite losing to the shortest time in office as Prime Minister: Liz Truss. Sunak became Prime Minister by default when Boris and Penny Mordaunt pulled out.
Ms. Patel's speech will be her first at the new Tory group 'Conservative Democratic Organisation'. This group is supposedly set up to help Tory members and give them more power. Ms. Patel will say that the grassroots members are the backbone of the party and that fact should not be forgotten.
This group was set by supporters of Boris Johnson. Priti Patel was Home Secretary at the time Boris Johnson was Prime Minister. She remains a strong supporter of the former Prime Minister. So it is only natural she would make a keynote speech in an organisation that backs him. Boris despite his misdemeanours remains popular with some in the Conservative party. Just as the former Prime Minister remains popular with many Tory voters.
Even when Boris was Prime Minister Sunak had made plans to replace him. He had brought out a slick video which would be ready to go when and if Boris stepped down. Many accused Sunak of stabbing Boris in the back. So Sunak has many haters in the Tory party and in the Tory populace at large. Many would have Boris back in a flash. Boris like his hero Winston Churchill wanted or wants to make a comeback as Tory leader and Prime Minister. However, because of the current procedure, Boris may find himself suspended and deselected from his constituency because of his antics whilst in office.
Labour had a good night at the local elections. If it was a general election Labour would be the largest party at Westminister. In other words, they would be the largest party and would form a government. Sir Keir would be on his way to Buckingham Palace to have a meeting with Charlie Boy.
