Sunak: Attacks On His Wealth Don't Bother Him.
The Sunak's Accrued Wealth.

Rishi Sunak has been hobnobbing with G7 world leaders in Japan. The Sunaks lost 500,000 Pounds last year according to the 'Sunday Times'. In the paper's rich list, the Sunaks are worth 529 million Pounds.
The Sunaks lost 500,000 Pounds because Ashkata Murty's shares in her Father's tech firm INFOSYS fell. Nevertheless, Mr. Sunak remains the richest MP in parliament. Mr. Sunak is wealthier than King Charles Himself. Sunak is probably the richest MP in the whole of Europe it has been reckoned.
Labour has constantly attacked Mr. Sunak's wealth. However, when asked about the attacks Mr. Sunak replied: "It didn't bother him". Mr. Sunak said, "People sitting at home are not bothered by my wealth". "They are more interested in what I am doing for them" he continued. Mr. Sunak may have a point, however, his accrued wealth and that of Ms. Murty (his wife) remain a bone of contention.
Labour attack the Sunak's wealth because they know it will hit home with voters. While many of us are struggling to make ends meet as the cost of living continues the Sunaks live like kings. Sir Keir has often accused Mr. Sunak of being in the 'Westminster' bubble. And being out of touch with the reality that his constituents in Yorkshire (and other places in the UK) have to contend with.
Sir Keir has also accused the Prime Minister of not taking action against child sex offenders. Not taking action against people who commit gun crimes. Not imprisoning them and being soft on such people.
Perhaps when the Sunaks fly abroad to world meetings it is some relief for them. Sunak seemed to be at ease in a Japanese teahouse as he showed off his red socks. It is customary when entering such buildings that one removes their shoes. The Japanese Prime Minister seemed to find the sight of Sunak's red socks amusing.
As a Hindu Mr. Sunak probably took himself off to meditate amongst the peaceful surroundings in Japan. However, the moment the Sunaks arrive back in the UK (if they haven't already) the harsh reality of their lot will be waiting for them. Financially, they will be fine. The fact of not understanding ordinary people will be on Sunak's mind (or will it?).
Sunak and the Conservatives are still way behind Sir Keir and Labour. If the local election results were anything to go by Sunak would be out of office. Sir Keir would enter 10 Downing Street with a Labour majority.
Sunak has made 5 pledges to "deliver" in his words for the British people. Whether he has the time between now and next year's general election remains to be seen.
Sunak will not be drawn on the number of migrants he wants to see in the UK. He has refused to commit to the numbers Boris outlined. Maybe out of malice towards his former boss. Sunak, however, has said he wants to stop migrant boats coming over from France.
What is Sunak going to do about the cost of living? What about the NHS which is basically on its knees? Does he think that supplying Zelensky (as good as that may be) missiles and drones will win him votes?
Sunak has a serious image problem both with some Tory voters and with voters in general. Even if he is serious about helping people nobody will believe him. His wealth is Mr. Sunak's Achilles heel. Mr. Sunak has been seen helping out in food banks, walking around hospitals, etc. However, whether Sunak is genuine in doing this or it's just a PR stunt (or both) probably won't help his plight in the polls.
Even his own party is sniping at him from his own front bench and the back benches. Truss, Johnson, etc, will be holding him to account and will be plotting his downfall (no doubt). The Tories, however, will not have the metaphorical knives out for Sunak. They had 4 failed Prime Ministers before Sunak. They know time is not on their side and will stick with Sunak until the end come what may.
